Limousine Suggestion - Raptor - Mar 7, 2016

Suggestion for <in-game/forum/teamspeak etc.> In-game

In detail, explain your suggestion: Currently the Limousine requires 5 General Rep points and $350,000 to be used only as a President, Vice and SS. My suggestion is making the Limousine a free use vehicle as long as the player meets the requirements. What I mean is that you don't have to be a president, vice or SS to use it.

Another idea not related to the suggestion but it is a suggestion nonetheless. Is that if this suggestion gets approved maybe (If it is possible) the flags on the limo could change into clan logos.

Why should this be implemented? In real life you don't need to be a president or a high rank in the government to drive a limo, you can rent one. Be a chauffeur to one. You can have your clan members drive you around in a limo to look very posh and rich.

It also adds allot of new RP potential. The requirements seem way to high for the small role-play that you can do at the moment.

Huge +Support, the requirements are too damn high.

As far as a development standpoint with the flags, they cannot be changed.

Honestly not sure about this one. If anyone can rent one, you'd see the whole city running around with limos. It is meant to be fairly rare I'm sure. Now I certainly would support the Chauffeur to have access to one, but under close to the same requirements.

I'd like to be excited to see one, let alone get into one. If anyone can drive one the specialness would be gone.

I meant renting it from a player just like how people buy cars from other players. I didn't mean like a whole new option that allows you to rent cars Tongue

I don't know, bulletproof/ IED resistant limos aren't very common as it is.

Then there should be another limo that isn't bulletproof just like how there this two different Dodge Chargers, and two of them have different specs and such.

+Support for allowing Chauffeurs to spawn in non-OP limos
-Support for all citizens having it; I think we should maintain it's 'rarity' so that it doesn't become just another part of the city background - just like super cars have become, as almost everybody has/can have one.

RE: Limousine Suggestion - Faustie - Mar 8, 2016

I think that even if the chauffeur can spawn it it'll lose some of its rarity and appeal. As it currently is, the most people using the limo would be high ranking government officials and, depending on the RP, perhaps foreign dignitaries or mafia bosses tied with the President. Once the chauffeur gets access to it then any random Joe who can fork out a bit of money can ride in it and they'll become fairly commonplace. It's not that expensive as it is.

Not any random Joe, the requirements are the same. So this random Joe should have 5 General RP Commendations and the money for the limo. If someone who is misusing the limo then it'll count as FailRP.

5 REP and 350k isn't a huge amount though. After a while a lot of players will have the required REP and limos will become commonplace. The current limiter is that it's restricted to the upper branches of government. If we were to release a public limo it'd have to be much, much more expensive.

$5,000,000 limo pls, reserved for only the most important/wealthy of people.
