Paintball Guns - soupream - Jul 7, 2018

Explain your suggestion, in detail: Add Paintball guns that are available to be bought via a Gun Dealer

Explain why the suggestion should be implemented: It could enable Gov. forces to train using non-lethal weapons, or even a PassiveRP where a paintball field is opened. It may also be used as a non-lethal alternative for crowd control

Police generally train with live rounds, unless they are against other officers

I don't know how they do it in other countries (all though I have seen and heard of some states in the US doing it too), but in The Netherlands, they use ''simunition'' (fires small paint projectiles and simulates a 9mm bang) against each other and PAK (simulates a x-mm bang) munition in terms of training for normal situations. Of course they use 'sharp' rounds when it comes to actual firearms training.

I never heard of any PD (or any other LE agency) in The Netherlands using paintball guns against each other, but... to simulate ''simunition'', it could be a fun idea.

Even better would be to have it this way:

- A paintball gun;
- Paintball munition for both sports/hobby and training;
- 'Pepperballs' as another less-lethal munition for paintballs used by law enforcement. It could simulate a blurred vision and decrease of stamina.

I always thought of making a suggestion like this but feared it would get denied instantly, but you've proved me wrong. I am in favour of this so much, its good an comprehensible amount of possible uses and will make the server so unique and varied. Massive, massive +Support for this one.

Pepper balls aren't currently used by law enforcement, only private security companies. There is too much risk involved by using (in effect) chemical weapons. They are however in testing and are likely to be introduced to LEO in the not so far future.
