“This is the... largest chip project endeavor in the history of humanity, with a budget of several billion dollars,” Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang said proudly onstage, a smile on his face. “I’m pretty sure you can go to Mars [for that budget].” And the result? Nvidia says its new GeForce GTX 1080 is far faster than the Titan X, the fastest single-GPU graphics card in the world today—and even faster than two GTX 980s in SLI.
And with that “irresponsible level of performance,” the next-generation graphics card wars are officially on. Hot damn.
Fuck yes, pretty reasonably priced too for what it is..
That tickles my pickle for sure.
Damn, guess I'll be upgrading then...
Well considering the GTX 970 has 12GB of VRam, I think I'm going to sell my GTX 980ti and just get a 970, that performance-to-value ratio is too good.
Too poor for this. But hey now people are going to have better computers
I'll just sell my leg, won't be needing it anymore

Going to buy the Gtx 1070 for my new pc.
Well, guess it's time I upgraded from this
If anyone is wondering what the founders edition is, its just the reference card
(The official nvidia design)
And then there's Saf with her GT 740M. And 2gb dedicated vram.
Fuck laptops
