I am a firefighter for 3 years now. Still loving the job, even when it's sometimes hard and rough.

I wanted to be a Volunteer Firefighter with the city where I live, but I could never find the time to squeeze in EMT training to complement it; my brother has been with the city's fire department for about three years' running now. If I ever manage to get EMT, I'm definitely going to volunteer.
I myself volunteer for the New Zealand Fire Service.

Do it, it's worth it! Takes up quite a bit of time and a lot of effort but at the end of the day it's highly rewarding and a lot of fun.
Hey Galaxy, I am a volunteer firefighter in New York State. I'm relatively new, but I love it! I plan on becoming EMT-B certified within the next two years.

Yeah, I actually am not a firefighter in real life. I just play one on tv, or something like that.
Overall I respect the role that they play, their services are very vital and rarely thought about until absolutely needed. I have done a lot of studies on what they do and how they do it in the states. Which I do use when I'm in Limelight.
So, respect to those that actually do this for a living.

I used to be in the Volunteer Fire department youngers division for 4 years until it stopped for low activity.
Learned a lot and I value all that knowledge.
Well, I'm trying to find some days to apply as a Volunteer Paramedic over in TJ, as I sometimes visit it and stay over there like for a week, a month, or even a year or 2
