Great update! I love the fire alarms that send calls to our department. I really really like the option to drag unconscious bodies and look forward to medic and officers being able to drag victims out of the streets.
And of course, I love idea of the fire radius.
I guess what I'm trying to say here is... I love you.

In the image, the alarm will detect the fire from about that far away; so imagine that being its radius.
In other words, one alarm should be enough to cover most areas (individual areas shops, apartments, etc.), although bigger places such as MTL/custom dupes may need two+.
Will the fire now spread ?
