His family has been dodgy for a long time, off-shore companies and off-shore bank accounts and he even owns it directly.

He can't really be held accountable for what his parents and grandparents have done. He has paid tax on all earnings from the off-shore company set up by his father and when he sold his shares, he paid income tax on that too.

He doesn't own any off-shore companies and no longer has a stake in his late father's company.

That 200k given shortly after his father died?

I could go on about why Dodgy dave is a crook.

Yes, a gift from his mother.

He's not the only one to have done that. He's done nothing illegal.

A gift? It's clearly his inheritance.

"...all..."  - seems like a bit of a stretch. Everyone is corrupt so he might have skipped out on a few.

Hell, the United States doesn't even pay it's own taxes to Mother China
