What a few people seem to have picked up, is that they relate props (in general) to the root clause of FPS lag. Working with props for the majority of my play time in GMOD I can be sure that those statements are incorrect.
The only time at which props will affect your FPS is if they are unfrozen (on a constraint) OR a large mass of props up to >>700<< in one very small confined space; I.E. To a scale of a domestic house.
The fact that I have not used not even half of 700 props, they are also spread out around the map therefore stability will not be an issue for you :
Not going to lie. I wet myself a little when I saw I was in the photo

It's a shame to see time being wasted on increasing the prop count on the map, decreasing FPS, instead of using any of the new revisions/maps the developer of Evo City has already released.
Both v2d and v33x have lost support, years ago.
Can I just add that this has not affected development in any way, this is purely just my project.
This has not affected FPS in any way and adds no strain to the servers performance, that I can assure you.

I didn't meant to offend, I'm just tired of this old maps, there's already multiple revisions of them, with bugs/performance fixes, plus other new maps from the Evo City Dev.
We can even look elsewhere, there's tons of City/Country RP maps, that would sure give us other RP options, we've been playing on v2d and v33x for years now, we all kinda tired of the same old, plus they're cursed with problems.
Kobi,
I thank you for expressing your concerns and they have been noted.
However, whether a map revision is considered (which is very possible) this project will continue. A reason being that the prop locations cache can be transferred into new map revision pretty easily so it's no waste of my time.
But... For now I am working on making the servers more appealing and more practical

10/10, need EvoCity 3.

are you referring to that
unfinished map
There is a good chance IF EvoCity 3 is released, we will put up a server with that map!

i cant see any reason that you wouldnt tbh
I am absolutetly amazed by all this nice decoration. Exspecially with the recent storms we had it was fantastic.
Backstreet
Regarding the functionality of the map id like to recommend a bus stop and probably some advacned decoration on evo backstreet. This street got a lot of plane buldings who are perfect for any kind of store/cinema/gunrange/inssurence office/whatever else rp. the only downsight is that those are rarly used since this corner doesnt get as much attention as ampm. A bus stop, some decoration, or a functiona place for any of the upcomming updates could probably increase the popularity of evo backstreet as the backdoormarket it kinda is.
Security Office - Interior
I also play around with the idea of a police station. The Firedepartment and the Paramedics have their own HQ who are nicely set up in a way that provides great rp oppurtunitys wherelse the only HQ of the cops is the empty Nexus floor and the security office. In case of winterogation, witness reports, office rp, mission/patrol briefings or any ceremonys the cops dont really have dedicated place to go. Therefore id like to recomend to probably add some office furniture to one of the 2 large security office rooms (without windows) or probably a lockerroom. You coud make one of the glass offices a Seargents Office while using the remaining as a Briefing room. I actually got some props for this (ill edit in screenshots) Even though Police is a active job thats probably critical with too extensive passive RP, we need some sort of Police Station. To go beyond the avarage arrest warrants. I had quite a few witness reports, police informants or even a witness indentification over the time but everybody is limited with his props if you still want to have one or 2 props remaining for rp-prop-spawning(traffic cones, notepads, barriers, a bottle of water....)

Why thank you!
You have got some good ideas here and a really appreciate you taking the time to get down some suggestions.
While a lot of your suggestions are good, I would also like to keep a lot of freedom for players to decorate some things themselves, such as offices and the fire department, however I get it! I'll see what I can plan out.
Thanks again.

We fucking need this when it's done O_O
I have pushed this forward to the Development // Administration team to discuss. Thank you!

Yeah that would be the only problem. Interiors can limit a rooms rp value as easy as they moght enhance it. probably there could be a few small decoration. I dont really know. To be fair i cant really iagine a propper way to increase the popularity of the backstreet and the offices with decorations. I just like the idea of a few smallstores and a policeoffice.
Btw anyone knows if evocity 3 feautures a police station. Id totaly love a police hq where you could park your car, go in for a coffe and a donout get the paperwork done or interwiev some witneses
. Rockford had a really nice station setup.
The Evocity 3 map looks great, it really does - but from the current screenshots it looks like it'll feel pretty empty even with an 80 player count.

I think it could be solved pretty easy. Let them be decorated, although when you buy a certain property you are able to delete these world props and when you're not an owner anymore, they appear back again, and so on.
