Hi everyone,
I've added spike strips for the police and SWAT. You spawn with one available, and can resupply more from police cars. They won't 100% stop a moving vehicle, but they will drastically slow it down and do significant damage to the vehicle. The Hummer H1 is less effected by it - it'll still be hit by a temporary slow-down effect, but won't receive as much damage. The fire engine and ambulance won't be effected while being driven by players in the correct jobs so as to stop spike strips halting emergency response, but police cars will still be effected by spike strips.
They can be picked up and removed from the ground by anyone, but you won't be able to steal them and place them yourselves at the time being.
Enjoy! These will be live on next restart. They use models/animations from CustomHQ which we bought, but the majority of the code has been re-written.
Yay!
I can see how people can roll it out in the middle of the tunnel as a troll... 8)
Aww yiss! We are one step closer to stop the CDM queen safira! :
YES!
This is what we needed.
This has been long awaited. Excellent to see this finally go into effect! Look forward to getting on and seeing it in action.
Finally another way to stop a car without emptying 2 clips! Great update!
I have one thing to say
Crown Victoria or riot.
How does fearrp Work with these things can you continue driving when hit? or will there be FearRP with spikes down

If your car is hit, you take 40% damage (with most vehicles). FearRP does not apply; this is for stopping vehicles so that the police can catch up to criminals and (if needed), put them under FearRP.

OT: Noice.
Since you wanna post ugly vics ill post pretty vics, my vic.
I'm interested in seeing how it works, and hopefully the cops will less likely shoot at cars. It will all depend on the player base.

Players will easielly abuse this and FailRP, never seen a civilian messing around with the police spike strips.
