Kevlar will no longer be lost on crash; it is only removed from your inventory now on death. You can also take off kevlar, but if your health is too low you won't be able to. Currently you can heal back up to take it off, but I'll look into options to save kevlar damage, which could perhaps let us add additional kevlar types (damaged/upgraded).

I'm not quite sure how best to handle kevlar and arrest, so I left it as it is at the minute. Would you like to see some form of confiscation where you lose equipped items on arrest?

Next: I'll be working on the woodcutting system some more, and buff it up a bit again, as the stamina nerf was too strong.
Nice work Big Grin Amazing work you've been doing. What might the command be to 'take off' the Kevlar?
It's the same as clothing. Just go into your inventory and click 'take off'.
Sounds good.  Think that is a good addition there.

Losing items on arrest... that one I'm conflicted on.  If there was a way to specialize arrests maybe.  For minor crimes like getting arrested for having a car in the city, I'd say no.  But for major crimes then yes.
The thing is, if items are not confiscated, it gives people an incentive to surrender to the police. (I mentioned this argument on a suggestion fairly recently.)

That means if faced in a position where they can either fight, or surrender and get arrested, surrendering would mean they would retain their items, and fighting gives them a chance of loosing it, and as such, more people would be inclined to surrender. (Whereas making it confiscated on arrest would only incite more violence towards police, as people would rather have the chance of saving their items by fighting, rather than surrendering.)

Once again, a great update, has been requests for the longest time.
Yes!
Great updates man, thank you.
Can't wait for the updates on the woodcutting system.
Awesome! Can't wait to try it out!
Very nice, great update Smile
Great update!
Good to see!
We should not lose items to the police, if that happens, people will just start killing police everytime they come in their direction with fear to lose their gear, it will increase agressive behaviour and cop killing, specially when newbies play police and arrest randomly.

Not only that, but it gives this newbies access to high powered gear.

Plus we should surrender to the police, in order to give way to more passive RP, if the reward we get for surrender is losing our gear, then no one will surrender and fight to dead anyway.
