The company where I "work" at has become victim of DDoS attacks.
A large portion of the Netherlands was without internet for a couple of hours.

Apparantly it was anonymous (an0nimoos). I doubt that this youtube video is legit, as I always do.

When you think about the panic when a DDoS hits LL, think about the panic that was going on here in my office.

I cannot disclose further information as I was given strict orders not to talk to the press or put anything on social media.

And you know, anonymouse is behind the attacks, they've send you guys multiple warning messages.

Okay, but anonymous fights for the people. Why are they indirectly attacking the people then?

You could say it is colleteral damage, or a necessary evil. But in my opinion this attack completely flies past it's purpose, to display that Ziggo apparantly does not have proper security set up.

The better way in my opinion is just to hack into Ziggo and perhaps turn the websites upside down, throwing all information of the managers on the street.
This is just attacking a system that no system can handle.

They are hacking/DDoSsing ziggo for the following reasons:

- Not enough service
- Not enough defence for hacking

They demand the following: They want a 25% discount on every guy that has ziggo, because of their bad services, they want them to improve their defence, and if they do not comply Ziggo will be hacked for 7 days.

I also agree it is unfair, they are indirectly hacking the peoples internet, but ye. Their choice,

Whilst actuelly we are the best provider when it comes to service in the Netherlands.
