We're focusing on adding quite a lot of new vehicles, but we're not quite sure how much you all want new vehicle sounds.
I'm all for vehicle sounds and would love to have custom sounds for every vehicle, but one or two admins have said that we should be more cautious with file-size; while custom sounds are great, each vehicle's sounds adds ~10MB of uncompressed file-size, which will add up to a lot for all of the vehicles.
Would you rather see us be very liberal with sounds and content/file-size, or a bit more conservative and not add so many new sounds?
Im all up for Custom sounds aslong as it won't affect the Stability.
+Suppport.
I really want some proper vehicle noise, even if most of the cars would make the same sound.
Just very tired of the ol' crappy engine noise and anything different would make a big difference.
Hell I could give it a go actually making some sounds with some of the new Mics and studio kit Ive ordered
+support
+Support as long as it will still be possible to sense where the vehicle is located using sound.
I'm up for it, as long as you don't add too many sounds to download.
+Support, adds for realism to the server and gives the cars more character! Can you give us some preview of some sounds when you code/work on them. Much appreciated
I would love to see more vehicle sounds, especially for sport cars and heavy vehicles.
I would like to see better sounds. File size doesn't matter to me.
I like the idea, maybe not have custom sounds for every vehicle but maybe break it down to type.
Sports Car, Subcompact, Sedan, Midsize SUV, Large SUV/pickup. Something like that.
In FL, Audi RS4 with the truck sounds. Wtf
I have no issues downloading some bits extra to get new sounds.
I support this.
Yes and no.
Yes for the custom sounds, but no if they sound ridiculous like the Lambo sounds you added in before.
I'm sorry but the overall sounds sounded terrible, the engine starting was great. But the rest. Boo
+support New players could be told that all this content is really cool stuff that they would want to check out.
As long as they are convincing then yes.
