Francisco Scaramanga

Francisco Scaramanga was born into a traveling circus, the son of a Cuban expatriate ringmaster and a British snake charmer. He grew up performing as a trick shot marksman, a skill that proved deadly when, at age 10, he killed an abusive animal trainer after the man killed an elephant Scaramanga had befriended.

At 15, Scaramanga left the circus and became a gunman in Rio de Janeiro. His talents caught the attention of the KGB, and he was trained as an assassin in Eastern Europe. For years, he served as a covert agent, before quitting the KGB in the late 1980s to become an independent hitman.

Scaramanga is a cold, calculating professional who thrives on challenge and perfection. His ego is immense, and he views assassination as both a craft and a game. He enjoys the thrill of the kill and takes pride in the precision of his work, often making love before executing a target in the belief that it "improves the eye." While he is an independent operator, his affiliations with the KGB and SPECTRE show his ability to align with powerful organizations when it serves his interests. Scaramanga is ruthless, cunning, and driven by wealth, power, and the thrill of the hunt.

By the 2000s, Scaramanga was charging $1 million per kill and had built a reputation as one of the most deadly assassins in the world, notably being present in killing FUMUKU Executive, Ronald Lynch. Scaramanga's operations are kept shrouded in secrecy, with his pint sized accomplice, "Nick Nack", handling all business dealings and preventing anyone from knowing his true identity. There are no photographs of Scaramanga, and his unusual anatomy a third nipple is one of his few distinguishing features.

Notably he uses posses a custom-crafted, gold-plated pistol made from a pen, cigarette case, lighter, and cufflink, designed for lethal precision and discretion when required.
