Full Version: Props available, but not in collection, thus giving ERRORs
You're currently viewing a stripped down version of our content. View the full version with proper formatting.
Description:
Currently we have quite a few addons installed on our servers, but not in our official collections,
thus making it that some will see and use them and some will see ERRORs instead and have no idea where they are from (like myself).

The ones I've found so far are:
RP Florida V2
RP Florida V2 - Content 1

RP Florida V2 - Content 2
RP Florida V2 - Content 3

V5P Content 1

V5P Content 2

Evocity Props

But there might be even more.

Bug observed since:
First time joining in Reunion.

Images/Screenshots:
You can imagine ERRORs.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Don't have them installed.
2. Join server.
3. See others spawning the props.
Thank you for your bug report, Markus!

It will be reviewed as soon as possible by our Developers.
Subscribed to all, hopefully no more errors ever for me :]

Thanks, Markus.
So, we are looking at removing content, I think pulling out map specific content would probably be a good place to continue the work we've already completed. I just want to be careful about removing content which is actively needed (such as by a gamemode item) or is popular.
Looking at Florida's models, seems to be mostly L4D2 and CSS models (that aren't already in our content, at least).
Are there any specific models people are using?

I've been using models/env/furniture/sport_counter/sport_counter.mdl a lot lately and it seems to be an error for everyone.

Thanks for this, super helpful
So to give an update here. We've written a tool to download the content packs, extract and deploy that content. Currently on beta, staging and experimental we're running this to get a baseline for what content we have, and what we're missing.

After this, we'll remove the random content thrown into addons and into the root directory.
From there, we'll have a baseline for what content we actually have installed.
