The Limelight Gaming Staff Team are excited to announce that following the success of our reunion event and development opportunities that have become available, we confirm that Limelight City RP 2 is returning, effective immediately!
This event has proven Limelight's ability to draw a crowd, and has reignited the passions of many staff members who have since returned, especially developers. We welcome you all back and are excited to see how we can together advance this community.
The direction for the development of City RP 2 will be more streamlined, allowing for more realistic objectives for such a small but dedicated team of highly skilled individuals. The focus for some time will be to enhance and optimise the current gamemode, ironing-out the issues that cause disruption to player experience. While improvements are made to current systems available in-game, adding new content will be a focus once the gamemode is polished and we are in the best position possible to deliver new content. We believe this approach to be more reasonable, and this is something we want to be transparent about.
City RP 2 will focus on player-driven fun and as such, players can expect the gamemode to be a semi-serious and community orientated experience. Limelight will become a place to relax after a hard days work, where you can disconnect from the real world, and role-play to your hearts content. Equally, the facilities are available to simply hang-out with other players and catch-up.
Limelight is a community made of players and staff members. It is our shared responsibility to create the community that we want, so that the players of tomorrow have the opportunity to experience the fun we all had when we started out. We ask that if you by chance see an opportunity to jump in-game, and help instigate roleplay, that you please help the future generation of Limelight role players, and get amongst the fun, even if it means being the first person in-game to start drawing people to the server. Equally if you're not in a position to jump in-game, immerse yourself on the forum.
