Operation Festered Arrowhead Brief:
Over the previous months, the Canton Strategic Alliance Treaty's (CSAT) presence has been expanding on the Tanoan Islands in the Pacific. We have been monitoring their actions recently and have noticed that something isn't right. The armaments that they have been bringing to the islands have been slowly increasing into a fully-fledged military assault. CSAT was previously allowed permission for the Blue Pearl Industrial Port to be used for Military occupation during the fight between Russia and CSAT.
Once Russia was dealt over many months after setting up in the Blue Pearl Industrial Port, the Tanoan Government asked CSAT to demilitarize from Tanoa. This written warning was sent to CSAT just over two months ago and we have noticed certain members of the Tanoan Government have started to disappear without a trace. The Prime Minister of Tanoa has recently been marked missing and Tanoan Law Enforcement are currently searching the islands to find him. This act has allowed the Deputy Prime Minister to step in who is a CSAT enthusiast and has allowed CSAT to remain militarized and have their presence kept in Tanoa to support the Law Enforcement in finding the local government cabinet members that have gone missing.
A few days ago, CTRG-6 found a rusty van deep within the jungle with a dead government cabinet member inside, His name is Richard Wright. Mister Wright was one of the cabinet members who were against CSAT militarizing in Tanoa. We have reason to believe that CSAT is the main cause behind the missing government bodies. CTRG has tried to report this to NATO in which NATO has moved to speak to the Tanoan government but they do not want NATO support.
CTRG have been set up on Tanoa for a long period of time and do have access to investigate and set up where they need to on Tanoa. NATO has informed us that we are allowed to proceed in proving that CSAT are the main cause of the missing people but they have told us that if we are captured, injured or killed in finding this operation, they will not back us up or protect us.
Current Contract Story
Day 1
Day 1 begins at 23:45 with Ares Defence Service sending Section One and Two to gather any intelligence in local outposts. At Objective London, they managed to find out that the Tanoan Liberation Front and CSAT are working together on something, but the exact project has not been found or discovered at this point.
At Objective Tesco Ares Defence Services found that CSAT has been upgrading the Tanoan Liberation Front with high-grade weaponry and Night Vision. It is unknown to the extent of these deals but, we are to assume they have only been made recently. CTRG-6 got in contact with Ares Defence Service and restocked them with additional supplies before CTRG-6 returned to base without being spotted by any enforcers.
Ares Defence Services shortly did a hit-n-run on a bigger outpost with two Viper Operatives. In the outpost, A CSAT Officer was presently talking to an officer from the Tanoan Liberation Front. It seems they were making a deal but there were no details on what we could find in the outpost. Ares Defence Services snuck away to the Exfil point before the outpost received reinforcements from the main base at Blue Pearl Harbor.
Day 2
Day 2 begins at 05:48. Now that we knew that CSAT has been having talks with the local militia we were lucky enough to learn that they were having another meeting at the main base. We sent in three Ares Defence Services Operators disguised as the CSAT Officer and two Viper Operatives they encountered the night previous. Additional units would be sent out to the outskirts inspecting and gathering intelligence on the base should we ever need to take it and additionally to learn any information on what kind of armaments they are carrying within Tanoa. Some key to note is at least two tanks and five troop-carrying V-TOLs.
While this was happening CTRG-3, CTRG-6 and Captain D. Wallcroft destroyed a local CSAT transmission station to decrease the response time of CSAT at their many outposts on the Pacific Islands. The Transmission Station was destroyed giving time for the undercover operatives to get into the meeting point to gain intelligence found on a CSAT console as an alarm was sent over. We learnt that two Viper fire-teams were being sent to Tanoa to finish some business that had been started. While the Undercover Team received this - A Tanoan insurgent team known as TFA (Tanoan Freedom Accord) attacked the front of the base but from what we saw, many casualties from the TFA were sustained as they were gunned down by four to six gunships that were sent down from a local airbase we know the location of now. This distraction from the Tanoan Freedom Accord did allow the undercover team to return to base and exfil out of the island for now.
Day 3 - Scheduled for Tuesday 16th February 2021 @ 1900
The report is awaiting to be filed.
Day 4 - Scheduled for Sunday 21st February 2021 @ 1900
