The family was the first to be kicked off the commission in the 1900s, but the family was recovered in the 1990s by josephs massino, and by the dawn of the new millennium was not only back on the commission, but was also the most powerful family in the early 2000s
The bonanno family was to be the most brutal crime family of the New York five families during the 20th century Joseph bonanno came to a tragic death due to complications with his health he died due to heart failure in may 11 2002.
After Joseph's death in 2002, 5 years later salvatore decides to move to evocity he was the head of the family and had to work from the ground up.

Salvatore was born in sicily italy in May 15th 1985 when the mob ran everything in sicily due to the dangers in corleone his father joseph bonanno decided to move to New York City, Salvatore decided to be with his father for the most part of his life when Salvatore was 14 he was starting to be troubeled getting involved with the police, robbing stores, and robbing jewelry stores his father noticed salvatore was following his footsteps. when salvatore was 17 his father died of heart failure, and the family started to go down hill the family had no money salvatore had no where to go, and when salvatore got his own money enough he decided to move to evocity and start a new life in evocity and now salvatore is 35 and he has started the family from ground up.
