Blood is flowing through the sewers, prowling through the night, blood predators have claimed another victim while party sounds of the unaware citizens echo through the streets and alleyways.
The “Luminous Order” sent a group of hunters, led by their most trusted veteran to cleanse the city from the vermin that corrupt it.
The city, never sleeps. By day, it’s inhabitants rush to work, by night they rush to entertain themselves.

Are you a blood predator, vampire?
Are you one of the trained hunters?
Are you a civilian going about your business unaware?

Luminous Order

Created to be the frontlines in the war against the Vampires, the Luminous Order works to rid the world of these creatures while also keeping them a secret from the civilians.

These soldiers of the Sun are trained from a young age with the knowledge of their ancestors.

Like the creatures they hunt, Luminious Order hides in plain sight working to protect the citizens and gather intelligence in order to find their prey.

The Blood Predators

Cursed long ago, these night stalkers hide amongst their prey.
Fighting for survival every night, trying to satisfy their insatiable hunger, they hunt while also being hunted.

Roleplay will be the focus of interactions for this event.
To accomplish this, we decided to give every role a certain hit number, which you will be told when you get the role.

While interacting with someone in a combat situation, instead of actually shooting a gun, you will be doing a /roll 100 and the action will only succeed if you pass the hit number of the person. This was chosen to allow vampires to act out the powers they would normally have as well as to encourage people to create thought out descriptions of the actions they are doing as well as improve the roleplay feel of the event.

Combat actions will work as below with the /roll 100.

Anything below 5 is a critical fail, the opponent gets an automatic normal success meaning they can stun, escape, teabag.
Anything below the opponent's hit number is a fail.
Anything above the opponent's hit number is a success that grants non-lethal actions.
A roll that is 30 points above the opponent's hit point is a hard success and can grant lethal actions.

Interactions will be done with round by round basis.

Before an interaction begins, both sides will do /roll 100 to decide initiative.

The minimum for one's initiative is their hit number.

The highest number will start first, second highest will go second, etc.

Here's an example interaction:

Let's say we have two people

John McJohn (Hit number 60, he's a thicc boy)
Michael McMichael (Hit number 50, he is bad)

John McJohn runs into Michael in an alleyway, Michael being a crack head decides that John is a nice target for more dough for crack.

Michael walks up to him and yells "drop your pants and your wallet bro or ill shank ya"
John being a wall street boy, doesn't want to get his pants dirty he hesitates.
Michael thinks John is being annoying and goes to shank the heck out of him but while rolling he rolls 55, which means he fails.
Now, in this instance the way you fail is up to you, you can describe Michael's failure as him stumbling or him not being able to take out his butterfly knife as quickly.
This failure gives John the chance to act.

John remembers his high school boxing club training, prepares his right hook and does a roll, he rolls 80.
Which is a hard success.
John smacks the crack head and knocks him out and he badass walks away.

Game Masters (Staff) have the choice to call for advantages or disadvantages in certain situations.
(Ask staff members via @ before the situation occurs to know if your situation will count as one that'd require this.)

Advantage:
Roll 100 two times, get the highest.
Disadvantage:
Roll 100 two times, get the lowest.

More information will be given closer to the event, certain information will be given once your character/role has been decided.
