Good evening Community,
Four years after the last attack, our webserver was heavily put in distress on February 9th 2020.
Within one hour we were able to mitigate the attack and we started the investigation into this matter.
The Gameservers were not affected by this.
Furthermore we decided to re-configure our Firewalls once more while migrating our webservers networking activity
to an external provider (CF). The provider helps us to offload most of the attacks payloads so that we can keep our underlaying server
operational. Unfortunately we made a mistake whilst configuring the service that ultimately resulted in the 3 hours downtime today,
February 10th 2020.
The issue was fixed and our webserver is back online.
In order to keep quickly mitigating future attacks, all our security systems are on high alert.
Thank you for your patient during that downtime, and for your support.
