Amelia Rosalyn Hightower
Birthday: June 1st, 1996.
Age: 23.
Place of Birth: Tampa, Florida.
Relationships:
Husband: Avgar Adair Hightower.
Mother: Elaine Harvey.
Father: Lincoln Harvey.
Sister: Julia Hightower.
Appearance:
Amelia’s hair is cut a few inches below her shoulders, naturally colored a dirty blonde shade until it faded to a light gray color, due to a calcium deficiency she discovered when she was only thirteen years old that affects her to this day. Her eyes are a pale blue color, almost light enough to barely be noticeable, while her skin is a very light, porcelain shade. She only stands one inch above five feet, and weighs a little over 110 pounds, showing a very petite and fragile figure.
Amelia will usually be found in a very conservative, blue dress that comes down an inch below her knee, a dark burgundy shaded lipstick and dark blue eyeshadow to contrast her own eye color, topping it all off with a light amount of eyeliner and mascara.
If her appearance wasn’t enough to pull it altogether, she portrays herself to be a very hard-headed, stubborn, yet well-articulated woman, who will take absolutely no disrespect, while still being as polite as she possibly could. She comes off as extremely professional yet still fun-loving when the time is right.
(Amelia & Julia As Children)
Background:Amelia was born on June 1st, 1996, in the city of Tampa to the Harvey family, alongside her sister, Julia Marie, and their parents, Lincoln and Elaine Harvey. Their father, Lincoln, was a burly, stubborn man who had his own childhood sob story; the stereotypical “I didn’t have what you had growing up” kind of story, who had built his own life from practically nothing. He owned his own mechanic shop at the point of Amelia’s birth, and had done fairly well for himself. They weren’t rich or wealthy by any means, but they made ends meet. Their mother, however, had come from a very abusive home; which led to her being the timid and reserved person she was and probably always will be. Lincoln had helped Elaine get out of that life almost as soon as they’d met, and proposed only five months afterwards.
They announced they’d be getting a divorce a few months before Amelia turned twelve, and decided that they would settle it outside of the courts. They allowed the girls to choose which parent they’d want to stay with for most of the week, and they had opposing choices. Julia stayed with their mother while Amelia stayed with their father. Though the girls did still see each other every weekend, as the parents went every other weekend having both girls at the same time. The time apart was straining on them, as they’ve always been close throughout their whole lives so far. Once they grew older and started building their own lives and schedules, therefore not being able to make it every weekend; contact became even more sparse than it already was.
After graduating high school, Amelia immediately began to attend college, moving all the way to Ithaca, New York to go to Cornell University, working on her Bachelor’s Degree in creative writing. She had managed to build a comfortable life for herself. At first, she’d been staying in the dormitories, though after a year or so, she had been dating a girl for awhile and the girl offered for her to move in, as her roommate had just left. They had their own cute, comfortable home, and spent the nights when she wasn’t studying or writing with close friends, or working her small part-time job at a local cafe.

Although, as amazing as she thought it was, it didn’t last for a lifetime, She comfortably was able to stay there until roughly a year after she finally earned her degree; her girlfriend and her had gotten into a huge fight, resulting in a horrible breakup and Amelia with no other place to go besides her father’s. Julia was gracious enough to offer her home for Amelia to stay, so she could save up her money to be able to afford a place on her own. Amelia gratefully accepted.
Amelia became depressed, to say the least. Just broken up with, had no place of her own to live at, had a degree in something that was so difficult to find a career with. She did write, as often as she could, but it was hard to find a reliable publisher, or one that was interested in her writings at all. Most weren’t interested in the psychological horrors that she usually wrote (Stephen King being one of her biggest inspirations) but instead was suggested to write romance novels, or even steamy ones. Once they suggested that, she’d usually just walk out or hang up right then and there.
Amelia had begun to frequent a particular coffee shop in town, usually taking the table in the back corner, using her laptop to write after she ordered the macchiato she always got. One day in particular, she noticed a man at the counter having a really difficult time ordering. She’d never seen him there before, and it was obvious at the fact that he didn’t even know the name of the coffee he last got. Amelia got up and went towards him and the barista to help, who looked even more confused than he did. “I don’t know, it’s frozen I think? I don’t know what flavor or what to call it though.” He would say, to which Amelia would laugh - “Uhh… it’s called a frozen coffee.”
Despite her poking fun at him, the pair got along immediately. She offered for him to come sit with her and they made small talk, but it became a more personal conversation shortly. They sat there for more than an hour just talking. Eventually she realized that they’d never formally introduced themselves, so she gave him her name, to which he revealed he was Avgar Hightower. Amelia snickered, claiming what a small world as she said she knew Alistair as her sister was Julia.
After their encounter, Amelia began to notice Avgar around the Estate much more often. She wasn’t stupid, she got the hint since she had never seen him there before, so she decided to be upfront with him. Fresh out of a relationship, she didn’t want anything serious for a little bit. She wanted to commit to a career before she was committed to another person. Although he understood, he still persisted.
Current Life:
Amelia currently lives in the same city as her sister, Julia, although now with her husband, Avgar Hightower, in their own comfortable, yet very ornate home. Their wedding ceremony had been held in Tampa, Florida, so most of her family were able to attend, since his family certainly had enough money to travel there. They have plans to renew their vows in Evo City for all of their friends that unfortunately weren’t able to attend the first ceremony. A new wedding venue is currently in the works, thanks to Hightower Construction.
Julia hired Amelia into Hightower Construction as a Business Adviser, while Amelia still writes in her spare time (even had a few of her novels published by now), and owning a few businesses of her own. She bought the cafe where Avgar and her originally met, as it had so much sentimental value to the both of them, and runs it the majority of the time, allowing her cousin Josier to run it while she isn’t there.
Amelia and Avgar are currently discussing whether or not they should have children of their own, or when exactly that would happen if they decide to. Amelia would have a difficult time getting and maintaining a healthy pregnancy with her hypocalcemia, it would be nearly impossible for her to maintain the basic maternal needs as she didn’t even have enough calcium for herself, definitely not for herself and a child feeding off of her. The possibility of adoption will always be open for whenever they’re ready to have that responsibility.
