Formed in 1996 in the aftermath of the Somali Civil War, Doberman International (then Doberman Security Consulting) was created as a private security firm, based out of New York. 20 years later, Doberman International became one of the largest private security contractors worldwide - from peacekeeping operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, to domestic property safekeeping and corporate protection, Doberman personnel, equipment, and training was involved.
Doberman International aims to be an affordable, accessible security firm for any and all contracts our clients need - and with a recent opening of a new set of offices within EvoCity, located at Top Street, our services are now open and available to clients within Marion County.

Security Contractors
The life blood of Doberman International - Security Contractors promote Doberman's brand at the forefront of the industry. Equipped with the training and security techniques to succeed, our contractors are always one step ahead of the competition.
Security contractors are given two main types of contract: Internal, and External.
Internal contracts are defined as any contract that occurs domestically - carried out on US soil, within Marion County, and therefore subject to local law and regulation. The only exception to this is in the event a foreign governmental force has usurped American interests for their own.
External contracts are defined as any contract that occurs outside of Marion County, and as such require deployment of personnel via Doberman assets elsewhere. Typically, these are peacekeeping operations outside of the states - with past contracts being carried out in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and the Ukraine.

General Employees
Handling the bulk of the paperwork, employees of Doberman International handle the paperwork, and process requests for Doberman services. Our employees come from all walks of life, and can have many unique roles within the business.

Communications Staff handle all in-field communications, relaying information and orders to our security staff in real-time to ensure that all our operatives are well equipped and well informed, allowing their current contracts to be carried out smoothly and effectively.
Recruiters handle and process job applications, vetting our prospective employees and contractors to make sure only the best on hand become part of the Doberman family.
Management handle timetables, and scheduling for all of Doberman staff under their charge. Assigning security to contracts, and ensuring everyone remains up-to-date with their training are all responsibilities of management.

(OOC)

Meant to preview, accidentally posted. Welp. Guess imma go with it.

EDIT: Decided I'd go ahead and put a brief OOC summary of what this is gonna be here.
Long story short, this is aiming to be a more serious roleplay group, focused around both security and military roleplay. External contracts - as in, contracts that'd happen off-server - would be hosted on a P2P, custom gamemode I'm making in my free time for this.

I'm hoping to encourage some more character-based roleplay with this, giving people a chance to have a common shared background with others be built up, and maybe some lasting character development as a result. It could also lead to some interesting developments, and I'm hoping it'll get people involved thinking more about how there doesn't need to be a stark difference between "Agrro" and "Passive" roleplay. Both can work hand in hand, and compliment the other to create a fun experience for all.

Any critique/ideas are welcome, and in regards to the external contract thingamy, any other PMC-esque groups who'd like to make use of the gamemode once it's done are more than welcome to ask.
