Military Service

1st Battalion, 8th Marines

Craddock joined the United States Marine Corps in 1983, aged justed 17. He quickly established himself as a leader and reached Sergeant by age 21. Following the Iraqi invasion of Iraq in 1990, Craddock was amongst the marines deployed during Operation Desert Shield, he was criticically injured during Operation Desert Storm whilst attempt to rescue a fellow wounded marine under heavy small arms fire. He was later awarded the Navy Cross for his actions.

Craddock is currently a reservist Corporal with the Idaho State Guard.

Following Craddock's departure from the Marines, he returned to his home town of Los Angeles and signed up for the LAPD at age 31. He remained there for 9 years, before stepping down shortly after reaching the rank of Captain. During his time at the LAPD, Craddock studied towards a Doctorate in Criminal Psychology, which he completed shortly prior to his promotion to Lieutenant.

Craddock was offered a position in the ATF in late 2007, after working with an Assistant Special Agent-in-Charge in LA. He was made a Special Agent and accepted a move to San Francisco, where he remained for over a decade. In late Spring of 2018, Assistant Deputy Director Katherine Moore offered him the position of Supervisory Special Agent, responsible for managing the General Duties division of the newly established Rockford Field Office, in western Oregon. Following the office's closure in 2019 Craddock was made redundant, along with 12 other special agents. However, he chose to remain in Rockford, having fallen in love with the city.

Being out of a job, Craddock applied for a Detective vacancy within the MCSO, he was accepted within 48 hours and quickly set to work. A few months after joining the office, Craddock was promoted to Lieutenant, taking brief command of the Internal Affairs Bureau, however this was short lived due to internal issues within the office. Craddock is currently a Lieutenant within the officer and assists in the management of the Patrol division.
