Issued by: Please include the [L²]/[L²:M] tag. [L²] Night

Blacklist ID: 78439

Server: Truenorth

Why should you be unblacklisted?: I believe i should be blacklisted because what you claim is fail rp is not in fact fail RP but in fact excellent RP as the road was covered in ice and i attempted to turn the car going at speed applying the breaks causing me to then slide off the cliff. Clearly my attempt at role-playing was above the accusing parties skills at role-playing and just assumed i was dipping off a cliff for the memes.

Evidence: Here is the Screen shot of the road https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/4...1118_1.jpg This was taken shortly after the chase happened. I will also link this video as to more evidence of what actually occures in bad weather plus careless driving. https://youtu.be/gY0gda12pXg.  As you can see from the video provided some of the conditions of the crashes are not as poor as me sliding from a cliff top.
The staff-members have received your unblacklist-request, Mohammad Albingy.

It will take a while for it to be reviewed.
To comment on your case:
As a witness to the situation I can assure you that the case has been discussed thoroughly amongst several staff members with the conclusion that it was infact Fail RP. Also i fail to see how a car crash compilation is proper evidence towards your appeal. We all know how physics work.
In your instance though you fell down a approximately 25m high cliff (a height that will kill anyone ingame - and ensure a massive damage and injurie in real life) and you still continued to run from police without any hesitation. I fail to see how this is a proper/realisitc RP.
Hi Nem.

Prior to issue, I discussed with two other administrators, Marsh being one as well as a member of HR who I've asked to comment as soon as he's got the opportunity to - who all agreed that what happened was in fact FailRP. I agree with Marsh's comments 100% and also fail to see how a compilation of cars skidding on ice on a flat surface in real life compares to our gamemode. You did said move intentionally, fully knowing that a drop from such a distance would normally kill you. This doesn't mean that as soon as you land you can continue driving as if nothing happened.

I'm going to wait until HR has the opportunity to comment before I conclude.
Well since HR is getting involved care to explain how i have been able to do similar things in front of / and also during other chases with staff involved and never got any warnings or even off the record words like 'ay nem bit silly that dont you think' nothing.. it would be great if as a staff team there was consistency so that rules are enforced equally and confusion like me thinking since ive done it before and not gotten in trouble its okay to do. I would also like to mention that its not like i went FLYING down the hill and smashed the bonnet of the car on the ground or anything the car stayed on all four wheels the whole way down the hill in a somewhat controlled manner so damage to the car would have been minimal and injury also unlikely. I would also like to mention that people on Rockford used to go flying off the cliff there during police chases and nothing was ever said about that to my knowledge and you had a good chance of blowing up doing that jump.. my slide down the hill was kinda controlled and Im fairly certain i have seen slide down that hill on foot then continue to run away full sprint returning fire at us. Look forward to seeing your response. Thanks
As a team of now 23 staff members total, it would be impossible for us to all share the same viewpoint and whilst consistency is something we're trying to improve, this is naturally a challenge with a team of our size. Not everyone can agree on the same thing, and opinions of others differ which is why ultimately it lies on HR's shoulders to decide whether what you did was a rulebreak and whether it should be enforced or not - I spoke to a member of HR who agreed that what you did was in fact FailRP, so because of that I issued a punishment. I can't comment on situations I haven't seen personally, nor can I comment on situations involving other staff members though you're welcome to discuss such matters with HR directly with evidence and I'm sure they'd be happy to look into it for you.

Looking back at the situation, I would argue that your "leap of faith" was far from controlled. You ended up slamming off the side of the cliff, and ended up into the lake. I would hardly consider grounding your vehicle into the lake as controlled.
Do you have footage of my 'leap of faith' because im 99% sure that my car slid on all 4 wheels down the side of the wall slowly.. it was far from a leap.. also Rules are surely set in stone not opinions right otherwise how is anyone supposed to know what to do and how to follow them if say for example Stell sees me do something and tells me its okay.. so i do it again then when i do it you see me and i get punished how am i supposed to know left from right.. the precedent has been set by stell therefore everyone should follow obv HR is higher than stell so if they deem it wrong then it should be changed and stell should then enforce it how it was deemed okay by HR thus a new precedent has been set and everyone should follow that all 23 of you.. there should be no opinions in rules otherwise no one has a clue who is right and what the rules actually mean. Thus situations like this happen where to my knowledge i did nothing wrong as i have never been punished for it see lots of others do it including staff, so when i then go and do it i dont expect a punishment. If its against the rules then its against the rules it shouldn't be based on what time of the month it is or who it is dealing with the sit.

I am NOT saying this is anything to do with it but if you allow opinions surely that leads to BIAS coming to it and we all know peoples opinion on BIAS....
Hello, i'm this mystery HR that is involved with this case.

So, Night messaged me regarding this case the day it happened asking for advise. He explained what happened, how the situation happened and so on. Once Night had explained what had happened, I pointed out the rule break, and instructed him to issue a punishment. I do see your point with everyone having different opinions when it comes down to rules, there are so many bases to cover. It's near impossible. We cannot count for every situation, so thats why we like people to use some part of their brain to think 'would this be failRP'. Obviously there will always be disagreement however, in this case Night come to me regarding the rules. At the end of the day, I out rank both of them meaning I can make a ruling on it. Basically HR says goes and I am HR.

To be honest, I see no reason for the punishment to be lifted. It's clearly failRP at the end of the day.

P.S - It wasn't my time of the month when I decided the punishment.
As Brynn's now had the opportunity to comment and I've sought the opinions of the other staff members who had input, who remain of the opinion that this punishment should stand, I'll be denying this.

Thanks anyhow.

plus brynn said it should be denied and well, he's the boss
