Fucking finally!

The old US server was starting to bring in new players, but then it was neglected and multiple things made it basically unplayable, the new players we were starting to see dropped off, leaving it a desolate wasteland.

This will be great for a nice change of pace, and for bringing in new players.

I will start the first Florida Italian mafia.

Nice to see this project eventually boxed off.
Fingers crossed it succeedes and makes a much larger playerbase for L2.

I got promoted to mod and was introduced to it on the US server. This shit makes me so happy to see come back

No foolery I promise!

We learned a few lessons from the last attempt at a US server:

- We've implemented a much bigger budget to fund it long-term, even if there is very little player-base there once the initial hype dies off. We were starting to gain new players from the old one and even if it's a slow uptake, the server cost is definitely affordable to keep open a hook into the US gmod community.

- Less crap with maps. No more heavy dependence on workshops of regularly updated maps etc.

- Having a new server hardens us against one dedi unexpectedly failing. Justifies the cost on its own tbh.

- Having two maps helps alleviate boredom.

I really love Florida, hehe I wonder why lol. But in all seriousness im really excited for this map. I hope it brings in more players. I have to work during peak times on the EU server so this would be perfect for me. Also I think it adds more rp variety which is never a  bad thing. Thank you to everyone who worked on it. I really appreciate the effort.
