Hello there,
general kenobi.

TrueNorth is a massive map, and it might be overwhelming when you first step foot into its world. We had the /map for Rockford to help you get around places yet when we switched over to TrueNorth, I felt that it'll need to be improved upon to guide you around the map in the best way possible.

Few changes came to the /map, let me start by showing you a GIF of it.

As you can see, the /map now has options to switch between layers, as well as zoom in to navigate in a much more clear fashion.

The system informs you if you've reached maximum zoom levels.

Also, design overhaul!

I have plans to improve upon this even further adding more features and you can always suggest improvements of course.

Would like to thank for making it work with Lua and being awesome
Would a location marker be possible? One that shows "YOU ARE HERE"

Maybe if you purchase an item (GPS)?

Let's not lock a basic function that is only really useful to new players behind a pay wall.

I understand that this may seem something quite simple, but trust me adding this makes this entire system a LOT more complicated and a LOT LOT more work has to go into it. It isn't impossible, but it's a lot of painful work for something which isn't going to be that used after people get used to the map.
Well done, a much needed update for new players Smile I got fed up of looking at the image of the map on the forum when i didn't regonise a road name!
I reckon location markers will definitely be used a lot, especially considering how big Truenorth is, they'd help someone a lot to know where they are in relation to the map, if they don't know already.
What could be easier is highlighting the entire road you're on rather than an actual position, as that's just so much easier. Some roads are massive though so idk how useful this would be.

Maybe make it so you can see /map a smaller version on the bottom of your screen you can look at while driving
I still need to finish my night version of this map.
