As nice as it is, and it is very nice, i feel its kind of false advertising, as we dont have a Day night cycle, so if new players see this, think "WOW I cant wait to experience this" and then they join, and find out we dont have anything of the sort, they become disapointed.

Screenshots like this in the gaming industry are known as "Bullshots"

They show somthing in the advertisments that the customers/players will never see, famous ones are basicly anything Ubisoft shows off about their games prior to release, as they almost always receive a graphical downgrade to what was shown or huge chunks of the MGSV and MGS2 trailers.

Though MGS2 was done on purpose to make a point.

One that to this day still bugs me:

Emergency 5: What we we're told it was going to look like and shown off as an ingame in engine shot.
I disagree. It's a loading screen pic that doesn't say anywhere that the picture is meant to resemble IG activity. It's done on multiple servers of differing games such as Gmod HL2RP, Arma 3 RP or Milsim, etc. to give a nice look rather than a white screen with a box rotating (Or whatever Gmod's default loading is)

Granted you can get nice screenshots from time to time IG with no staging, but it's highly unlikely and (I really am not trying to brag about myself or anyone that makes posters or artwork with Gmod SP) usually worse looking than a staged picture or better yet a set designed such as mine or ‍'s. The loading screen is meant to look pretty and be a nice introduction to the various activities you can do IG, not that the screenshot is accurate. In fact, I wouldn't mind adding that as a disclaimer for non-IG screenshots in the future.

Its less than its not an ingame but instead a staged screenshot, its more than its showing somthing that at the current time, a player who joins will never experience.

I wish we did have a DN cycle (ACHEMSTORMFOXACHEM!) but until we do, having advertisment pictures that show us having one, is misleading.

Even if pictures at night almost always look better than during the day.

(Hint hint, nudge nudge, stormfox nudge, lets, nudge, get, nudge,it,nudge)

Jeez, Who cares? It's a screenshot for the loadingscreen, calm down.
Better to advertise our service as accurately as possible.

Otherwise we risk disappointing new players who expected more than what we have because the pictures they we're shown, showed features we don't have.
Nowhere does it say these pictures accurately describe IG. I really don’t see an issue with it when people shouldn’t be basing their opinions off of some picture on a loading screen where nowhere does it say “This is what you should expect IG”

I feel like the loading screen will be one of the least disappointing aspects to new Limelight players

The Dark one, that model isn't in game, might be a good idea to change the model
Is this even good?
