A-six-year-old boy was beheaded with a piece of broken glass in front of his screaming mum, a campaign group has claimed.
Officials in Saudi Arabia said the taxi driver has mental health issues. However, local residents have claimed it was an “act of sectarianism because the boy was from a Shia Muslim background”.
Sources close to the family alleged that Zakaria Al-Jaber was in a taxi to visit the shrine of Prophet Muhammad in Medina.
However, the taxi driver stopped the car and “forced the boy out near a coffee shop in the Al-Tilal neighbourhood”, TMV says.
The driver is then alleged to have smashed a glass bottle to obtain a shard of glass, which he then used to slash the boy’s throat, and stab him.
Shia Rights Watch, in a press release on the boy’s death, said that the “unknown man” had asked the mother if she was Shia when they arrived at the shrine, and “the woman said ‘yes’.”
Activists told the advocacy group, headquartered in Washington D.C., that “minutes after this conversation”, the child was wrenched away from her and attacked with a broken piece of glass.
The group added: “Witnesses report the child was beheaded from behind his head as his mother watched and screamed.
“There was no intervention from anyone and no response from authority thus far.”

According to your own source, dailymail, there was intervention by both citizens and authorities?
Quote:...stabbing him repeatedly as both his mother and a nearby police officer attempted to stop the brutal attack.
OT: What a horrific act. Rest in peace, little child.
As Nudel said,
What a horrific act. Rest in peace, little child.

The first quote is from Shia Rights Watch, the second is from TMV. Different witnesses told different agencies different things, leading to some conflicting statements.
Regardless, a taxi driver beheaded a 6 year old Muslim boy in front of his screaming mum because he was the "wrong type" of Muslim. Religion of peace.
After looking closer at the mentioned source. How about you use a neutral one next time?

Not really a neutral source. Known for being right, propagandistic, conspiracy and fake news. Huh.
Seems like another "let me rant on Islam ok" thread. Also, you've voided whole paragraphs to make it look even worse.
I'll just drop this here.

- Language for opening posts must be neutral. Either clearly seperate the story and your opinion, or create a seperate post with your opinion.
- Sources for news must be listed on Media Bias Fact Check, with a factual reporting rating of High or Very High, and a bias rating of center-left, center-right or least bias.
Your source does not match any of the listed rules.
And in fact, the first source I used was news.com.au, where I got the paragraphs from and is listed before the DM link, which is listed as left-center bias. So regardless of political swing, the news is being reported. So stop trying to witch hunt and say I'm in breach of rules.

Left-Center, Factual Reporting: High
How about you actually only use the neutral/allowed sources then? Instead of making a thread with mixed paragraphs, sentences which are cut out entirely whilst using untrusted and biased sources? Eight out of your ten sources are literally bullshit.
It is extremely clear that this, and many other of your "news" threads are simply there to blame Islam and to praise whatever.
Thank you very much.
Thanks, you just proved my point for me. I used news.com.au for the whole of the paragraphs I took. I could put all of them in, but it's just more information - not politically motivated. I just grabbed some paragraphs that summarised the incident and anyone who is interested is free to go and read it in more depth. What I posted
didn't breach any rules, as you've proven for me. I did not use "untrusted and biased sources?" I used a source which you've shown to be highly factual and then you slammed me for no reason. I then included some other links that I googled in that second to show you that other media platforms took the same information and used it, regardless of their political swing or trustworthiness to show you it wasn't politically motivated. I didn't include anything from those other sources, nor Daily Mail. Just the info from the first link (news.com.au) FOUND
AT THE TOP OF THE POST.
But instead, you go out of your way on this thread to to attack me personally. My dude, calm down.

Also known in the UK as "Daily Fail"
I mean...you should blame Islam (with this inidividual) this time. It’s literally one of the few reasons they say this man would commit this action for. Sure you shouldn’t bash a religion without evidence, but there’s a lot of evidence for making that claim here.
The title "Saudi Arabia" just says more than enough by itself
Left, Right, Neutral. Does not really matter when a child gets beheaded. Horrific act, rest in peace as others have said. Can we please be respectful towards each other on the thread? Thanks. <3

this isn't the act of islam, if you took some time to read the meaning of islam you would see the true meaning is about peace yet these so called "Muslims" called IsIs are not muslims they twist the words of the Holy book of Muslims and use it against it. You cannot blame this on Islam if you reully dont know what "Islam" is.
