As the staff member who reviewed the case in-game before it went to staff-report, I didn't determine it to be malicious. The body move tool was (and still is) a very jittery system to work with. The slightest of movements can cause someone to be bodyslammed unintentionally, this has happened to other members of the team as well, not just Doc.

I feel you're just nitpicking old incidents because of what happened in the Discord earlier.
(Dec 3, 2018, 05:35 PM)Cole_ Wrote: [ -> ]No, because you're ignoring everything everyone is saying. The bodyslam was accidental. It was not intentional. Had anyone accidentally bodyslammed, they'd be verbally warned or not punished at all, regardless of if they're a member of staff or not.

Admittedly, I've accidentally bodyslammed before and I was told "just be more careful next time".

Don't try to change the subject, I'm not ignoring anyone as I respond to everyone. Also, watch the video and see if it really was accidental. Why did he even move him there, to begin with? Fishy.. nonetheless, he's an administrator so it's an advantage I suppose. --'

I don't care about the Discord part, read the discussion's title and text; nothing ties with Discord. Strawman fallacy is a thing also, just wanted to point that out.

Keep yourself to the subject, this is about something else and not even close to the Discord incident.
I'd like to add that I don't tolerate anyone to edit my discussions without any reason and this also applies to ‍ ‍for changing the title of this discussion without any reason. Please behave maturely and properly as well as respecting criticism and discussions that you don't like. I want this to be a mature and polite discussion. Good afternoon. My apologies for the short reply before, I was having a shit.

I apologize even more in my UBR's but they get denied.
You have repeated priors, have misrepresented facts in your appeals, and repeatedly fail to show any actual improvements. The key part of an apology is learning what went wrong, and what could can improve upon. You don't get through a suspension by continuing to break rules.

I've spoken to the accused staff member about this situation.

Speak with me too then about the situation that got me permanently banned?
You always have the option to make an appeal. From what I recall, you were repeatedly spoken to prior to the situation too. A staff report is not like an ingame violation. It's like a player report. You have to get information from both sides.

What improved since apr 12, 2018, 02:11 AM? You stopped an administrator from breaking obvious rules by smashing someone on a wall while they're injured?
An administrator accidently breaking a rule due a system which doesn't work well, who apologised and has taken more care to ensure such a situation doesn't happen again in the future.

He didn't, so much for that addition.
Again, a key part is learning how to improve. In the future, I know that if this situation happens again, which I hope it does not, I should apologise there and teleport them back.

Which means that it's completely fine and there were no mistakes or violations? So much for that argument.
Mistakes were made. However, if this was to be brought as a report today, it would be denied. It would be in violation of the rules. I'm sure you would want to follow the rules, aye?

(Dec 3, 2018, 05:22 PM)Cole_ Wrote: [ -> ]Absolutely nothing. It's an in-character situation so you deal with it in-character, rather than wasting pointless time to post such a petty report. As well as that, the bodyslam was proven to be accidental.

Bodyslam = IC? Oh well...
Yeah. Kills are generally IC, unless they occur for poor RP reasons. Accidental kills, such as CDM or this case are generally left IC, so long as an effort is made. For CDM, that involves calling a medic. Since in the case, they died, there wasn't much that could be done.

No, I just want to discuss and see what other people think about this subject. What's wrong?
Because it's a thread which came minutes after you ragequit the discord, after Nightmare told you to stop breaking the rules. It's not a discussion, it's you trying to vent your anger (which for some reason is directed at me). Chill out.

(Dec 3, 2018, 05:29 PM)StephanGH Wrote: [ -> ]Bodyslamming isn't IC however it is an easy mistake to make. So they often dont punish unless there is clear intent shown.

No punishments were given for bodyslamming when the staff member did it, but some people even get ban for it without priors. If it was me, I'd be banned for it no matter how much I apologized. A staff apology is more worthy than a member apology, it seems like.

I went through the past 200 bans. There are 3 which mention bodyslaming. 1 was extended as they were already banned (so had recent priors), 1 was also for RapeRP on the corpses, and 1 was also for FearRP. So you're incorrect there.

If it was a genuine mistake, and you apologised, even with your record, you probably wouldn't be banned.

Why would bodyslamming a player be OOC? Its an IC action and can be done as such in mulitple situations.

Yes a player just KOing another and slamming them to death isnt allowed under the killright policies, but if you piss off the mob, and they have a killright on you, they absolutely can curbstomp your head or throw you off a cliff.
Honestly, just stop. You're clearly here out of blatant rage for what happened, rather than trying to call people out and make them look like an idiot. If you don't like people responding to your comments, you too can leave the discussion.

This was his first experience and you didn't even bother apologizing. This is because you don't care about the players in LimeLight.

Quote:Mistakes were made. However, if this was to be brought as a report today, it would be denied. It would be in violation of the rules. I'm sure you would want to follow the rules, aye?

I also made a mistake in the ban ‍ issued to me by shooting at a car that I was allowed to but accidentally shot at another car that drove next to the car I was shooting at. I was banned for RDM and general probation was issued. Really?

Quote:Yeah. Kills are generally IC, unless they occur for poor RP reasons. Accidental kills, such as CDM or this case are generally left IC, so long as an effort is made. For CDM, that involves calling a medic. Since in the case, they died, there wasn't much that could be done.

Bodyslam is not IC, it's a clear violation. I'd even tie it like prop killing. Is it an accident if an administrator makes it but not when a member makes it?

I'm chilled and this thread is not associated with Discord at all. How can people connect this?

Quote:There has only been one instance of that, which was a mistake and I apologised for. I don't bodyslam people "freely", so I would ask you to retract that

Sure, you bodyslam and apologize then fine. Someone else do it, ban or permanent warning.

Quote:You're only making a fool out of yourself. Stop.

You're annoyed, not me. Look at your response and by the way; how do you connect this with Discord? You're making a fool of yourself by saying that you just had to shit and therefore you didn't have time to respond quickly. None wants to know what you do in the toilet, at all.
