Proof that you copied the quote? Proof that it has been said a million times?

I require proof of who within this community has been aiding the spread of this virus.

I don't even know anymore.

Perhaps it is best it remains this way.
You're all timid.

Most PassiveRP in gangs is not public. It’s mostly done in secrecy (cuz, y’know. The whole “illegal” thing.) Most well developed RP Groups such as Cerberus, Givens Family, FUMUKU, or even SAA use conflict as a last result. Of course both varying objectives, but it still boils down to PassiveRP not being a very public action they do.

The PR just strengthens the point that if there is even a SLIGHT chance of a rule breakage, people (even with experience) will post a PR to try and get someone punished for a sitution they did nothing wrong in. What shocks me the most is that this seems more out of spite for the group than towards catching an actual rule breaker (See your first few sentences).

It's not like they left me a chance now, is it? What should I do when some thugs come up to me while I'm roleplaying as a mechanic, cuff me, hit me and leave me? Oh, I forgot. You think that's an excellent roleplay scenario. It was really so fun to be cuffed. Such an interactive and fun roleplay to take part in. Especially the fact that they didn't tell me what's going on or why they're doing it to me.

RP’s won’t always go your way. Being beaten by a thug who even threatens you (more than most would do) about your business seems like a completely realistic IC scenario. And of course he won’t tell you the while backstory. Why would he? You could have gone to the police to uncuff you and make a report. You could have gotten uncuffed and took a more evil approach, or you could have just ignored the scneario all together and gone about your business.

It’s amazing how many ways you can keep it IC, yet it’s too easy to press record and post a PR. Only worsens the situation of players witch hunting each other, especially when an experienced player can’t even RP a VERY tame threat (compared to the most common one which is killing you or torching your business.)

If we want to start fixing this community we need to stop going after each other for the smallest things. Unless it is EXTREMELY MALICIOUS there is really no reason to post a PR. We are all here to RP, so let us RP.

I think the idea is that RP can stem from the interaction we had. RP that could involve a lot more people than just me and you

- You could have rounded up some boys and came to teach us a lesson.
- You could have tried to explain what you were doing and maybe pay us for protection too, maybe even outbidding Nemesis.
- You could have contacted the PD to deal with us.
- You could have closed down your business and RPd as being fearful of the mob.
- You could have moved to a discreet location and continued trading more discreetly.
- You could have hired security and carried on trading.

Or you could just go ahead and post a PR on every minor thing that happens to you IC that doesn't satisfy your personal criteria for "Good RP"

*Removed the markus tag from the quote, don't wanna ping him without purpose*

You missed my preferred choice.
- Buy a gun and wait till they return, then pull a pulp fiction pawn shop rp on them (minus the rape because rules)

This dude knows how to party
Alright, guys, I get it. I will RP it out next time.

I would never begin to tell you how to play the game.  If you feel there is a rule infraction and you feel you need to report it, I won't be the guy saying "roleplay it out."

That being said, when I get fucked with in game, I like to hit them where it will matter to them.  Their wallets.  I could lay out all the ways Givens ends up over-exposed and in a vulnerable position, but why lay my deck out when most people only have a few cards to play with.

Even people who hit me with props don't get a PR outta me, but I'll sure as shit till gun them down for assaulting me.  I'm just lazy.
