Where is your map from that "map team" yall had?
You were also claiming to be a part of a map team too, where's your stuff at?
I wanted in on helping with this map thing, but some people around here wanted to make jokes instead. That's why I edited out all my content and left the discussion alone the last time. https://limelightgaming.net/forums/thread-17800.html
If yall would have said then that you weren't gonna do the project, I would have kept working on it.
The problem is you had not a single clue how to map and I am still working on things individually behind the scenes, idk about the other guys. The map was never exclusively going to be made for LL either, just a RP map.
Main street only has on building for player's dupes and shops. Rest of them are just government buildings.
The textures of the grass around the map makes the map feel really dull and dead, Evocity had good green grass which gave a more alive and well look to the map.
Remove unnecessary props and make the theater a flat building area.
Leave the uneven ground. It adds a challenge to builders to require a support for the structure.
Sad. (not insult, but just opposite of excited) No map after all this time. Most of the problems with the map identified we figured out back then and even with 5 minutes of hammer experience I was able to start basic work on weeding out the stupid props off the map.
Figuring out how to remove fake buildings wasn't a far fetched process either.
I said it back then, LL should have it's own variation of whatever map it plays on, because none of the maps are perfect for what we need out of the box.
I had an SA willing to provide an area for a map team if there was enough interest, back then. I'll leave it to whatever future map team to carve out its destiny.
Remove most of the trees on the map for better building areas

I'll get to work on that as soon as possible sir
Again it disappoints me when I see people who are given the chances to express their ideas and issues about an issue that is somewhat effecting the community, use this opportunity to joke about it.
If someone is making an effort into fixing a problem, and in this case fixing the main issues people complain about Rockford, then why not take this chance, this opportunity to give your input about what is wrong with it, instead of showing how really immature you are when given the possibility to make a change. Considering most of these jokers literally left the community because they're not happy with a few things and wanted changes, very hypocritical. Very silly.
Let's keep the jokes aside from this thread, let's try to maintain a mature level of interaction, please no more of these silly comments as much most people would love a map change back to v4b1.

I thought you said no silly comments?
Changing back is no bueno. We need something new and refreshing. Something that has the best of both maps. For example, Rockford’s loop of roads and path with areas having more than one opening with V4b1’s central area of player interaction and empty rooms ready to be built in.

Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
Changing back is muy bueno.
Rockford is just too inefficient of a map to be sustained anyway. I just want to go back to v4b1.
Im guessing its too hard to find your grandson at rockford
