How would you know if she put an OOC in front of it? It's a PM. She could have been sending an @ call for all you know or doing any of the various silent commands that shouldn't make noise or otherwise be taken as IC.
I'm involved in that aspect because I was PMing liv at the time (and she mentioned him wallbanging her to me), in no way was my convo meant to be IC

Well, I don't want to sound stupid but it's not my fault if he/she is doing it in front of my building because of 1. I had heard him/her loading a gun, 2. I heard all her/his steps outside my building, 3. I heard the keypad cracking, 4. she talked on the phone in front of my building's walls (It's not my fault if she/he was talking to u in OOC IN PM's which u shouldn't do while raiding someone). Or the staff/developers need to find a way to improve the chatting system a bit, I'm sorry but I don't feel that it's my fault that I heard everything she/he did outside of my building and made me locate him/her (btw when u contact the staff via @ it doesn't show "Talking" above their character).

Btw I did not see her/him mentioning me to u that I was shooting her/him in the video, just saying.. and in that case, u were kind of not involved in the situation because u were not physically there when it all happened.

Even if I had potentially been doing an @ call, from what I can tell from pressing Y until you enter the @ key it would still say talking above your head. I think that this is definitely a problem. But I also think it's unfair to be allowed to use this situation to your advantage to know precisely where to shoot someone. This shouldn't show up through walls in my opinion and using this to your advantage should be against the rules.

Well, from what I saw in the rules, I didn't see a rule that states that, so it definitely should be added as rule and they need to make it hidden somehow when ur talking to a staff member, OOC or something like that

Alright so, it might say talking but that's when IG chat is used, PM's usually get compared to messages, and it makes sense because it's called Private Messages. If you can not IC hear the person, you can not shoot at them using an OOC notification.
IF they were using IC chat to talk to you, feel free to spray them down in exactly this case.
The Talking at the top of a player's model is not for aim practice, but to notify another person that they are typing.
Using that information can be considered exploiting.

Fake news, I was actually right next to the shooting when it happened:
I would have probably shot Liv had I seen it was literally right next to me.

You were in a container. You're not going to be able to accurately here where someone is in real life.
The text disappearing after you write @ disappearing is patently false:
that's all i have to add

I understand , So the fact that is saying talking it means that they are messaging not actually "talking" right?
I see at this point.

So it doesn't consider talking on their phone, like speaking on it but messaging on their phone? How they talk on the phone then like actually speak on it?

Alright, sorry for the wait as I had to deal with some IRL stuff during this time.
I understand your reason, however only count something as voice if there is a chat print, if you don't there is technically no voice.
