they don't have external safety mechanisms like basically every other handgun. all they have is a "safety" on the trigger to prevent it going off if you drop it or what not
safety
no safety
i may aswell rename this to Guns are bad! xd
legalise all drugs and collect tax, lower income tax, make me happy
Weed can actually have a lot of negative effects on you, and the shit that you buy on the streets is far too strong to have a healthy effect for you.
Another thing, smoking (burning and inhaling the smoke from something) anything is inherently bad - don't fucking inhale shit that ain't supposed to be in your lungs. Unlike swallowing things, your lungs do not have a way to minimise the toxicity of whatever you breathe, hence why cannabis toxicity is actually a thing - in too large amounts it can be toxic, just like oxygen can be if inhaled in too much amounts. I can't remember the source, and I will find it tomorrow once I'm not tired and my internet is working, but cannabis is actually extremely (surprisingly highly likely) to cause cancer. I can't remember if it's more than tobacco, but I think it is.
Finally, it is undeniable that cannabis does have some medicinal benefits for some people, but what you'll notice is the US states which take medical marijuana seriously (instead of just using "medical" marijuana as an excuse to legalise it), it is not smoked or inhaled. It is almost always in pill form and issued very carefully, just like any other drug.
Also, Quest, the way that you present "the UK is the largest exporter of cannabis" is misleading. No we ain't. We export some cannabis-derived medicines (which can be beneficial but are not the same as legalising cannabis itself). We don't export raw cannabis. I don't even have an issue with cannabis-derived medicines - there are tons of opiates out there which are legally proscribed to people and yet opium is illegal - same situation here.
edit:
Mr Venom and Mr Octagon, on the subject of glocks having safeties; they do have three safety mechanisms, you just don't actually have to press anything, but they're still there.
They have trigger safety, firing pin safety and drop safety. Not quite sure how I feel about that setup but, meh it's there.

that makes no fucking sense
there’s a lot of robberies so let’s just remove the law so it’s not a crime??

Why don't we just legalise murder which would also stop the organised crimes that happen surround it.
Why don't we just legalise rape which would also stop the organised crimes that happen surround it.
Why don't we just legalise theft which would also stop the organised crimes that happen surround it.
didn’t see this, but exactly this

they don't have an EXTERNAL safety to prevent the trigger being pulled, only "safeties" to prevent it going off randomly

In addition to the response to Dan, like I responded to Octagon; you're point is really quite stupid. If we can stop crime, stabbings etc... surrounding a drug then that's a good thing. That doesn't mean that this works for every single crime under the sun though.

Nope, we export legal cannabis and quite a bit of that is used to create medicine but
not all of it.
Quote:A significant part of the UK's legal cannabis production goes towards a cannabis-based medicine called Sativex.
