"The private jet owned by Dr. Brandon Welks has crashed into the ocean sometime in the past 72 hours, engine failure is believed to have been the cause. Search teams have recovered the body of 2 pilots, however the body of passenger Dr. Brandon Welks has not been recovered and officials state there is very little hope for recovery.
Dr. Brandon Welks was likely able to escape the plane upon impact, the exterior of the plane would suggest a relatively gentle crash into the water, however such violent sea conditions would also suggest a minuscule chance of lasting much longer than a few minutes.
The Welks family has published an obituary and have requested privacy in their time of grief."
A Tragedy Has Befallen All Mankind
Dr. Brandon Welks, 64, founder, once CEO & President of such gargantuan multi-billion-dollar companies the likes of Rubicon Enterprises and Greenman Pharmaceuticals - Industrialist, technologist and scholar, has died. He leaves behind two adult sons, James & Alfred and a daughter, Natalie. Along with 7 grand children.
Lost forever is his bounty of knowledge concerning pharmaceutical research and development, the depth and breadth of which he would describe as “vast enough to fill several text books.”
Also lost, his personality which was described as infrequently common. His power of will, vision and his leadership.
Though cheated of a wealth of immeasurable sum at a young age in the form of an inheritance, Dr. Brandon Welks would persevere and proceed to found two multi-national billion-dollar companies, one of which in his 20s and another in his 40s. At an early age Dr. Brandon Welks received a scholarship to attend the University of Sydney because of a dear friend and employer, Nigel Greenman.
An act of kindness Dr. Brandon Welks long accredited to his success. As a sign of gratitude and respect for his deceased mentor, the company Greenman Pharmaceuticals was named after him, unsurprisingly. Dr. Brandon Welks had and will continue to offer the very same scholarships to underprivileged youth who show promise in the field of medical research for the past 25 years. Memorial scholarship programs will continue to be funded from his vast estate.
Dr. Brandon Welks was on a crusade in which he desired to cure as many deadly diseases as possible. However, the one disease that cannot be cured – death, subsequently took this visionary and man beyond his time. A tragic loss to humanity as a whole.
