I don’t think anyone is saying they don’t support the pride shit, we just don’t think a month should be given to it.
If you give one kid candy, you gotta give them all some. Where is the Jewish month, Asian, Native American, conservative month?

I believe that is the reason why it attracts a lot of hate. I, and most people I associate with do not care at all. What we do hate is it being shoved down our throats, and if we don't openly support it that we're homophobic or <insert>phobic.
The issue isn't generally with individuals or their actions, rather than it's forced and vastly overrepresented. The amount of people that care is little as they have their own problems and shit to deal with. Yeah be proud or whatever, but stop making a joke of yourselves and equally respect that other people may feel uncomfortable around the celebrations. Simply mutual respect imo.

Nah man I don't agree with it being shoved down our throats either nor do I think anyone should be forced to openly support anything.
I just think some of the poeple in this thread have acted in a bit of a disrespectful and ungodly manner.
Also idk why you're saying "stop making a joke of yourselves" if that's aimed at me cause I'm not in any way a member of the LGBT community lmao

Nah didn't aim at you, was a statement in general.
I don't understand how one can claim to be taken seriously when dressing up as drag queens, holding unicorns and spraypainting wanksy everywhere. If they actually want equality, in the sense of being seen equally to 'normies', then they need to stop celebrating differences and accept they're not special. Oh no, you like dick. Literally 0.01% of people care, at the most.
also congratulations on the transition
Most LGBT people are saying that they want to be treated as "normal" people. If they are so "normal", why do they need/want a special month dedicated to them? Do we have the "straight male" or "normal people" month too? Not really.

It like youre crying because the neightbors house is on fire and the firetruck isnt infront of your house, just take a look at history and see how gays have been treated through the years. Pride started as a protest and has become something to celebrate
So we should give special celebrations because of serious social changes and sacrifices made to get to today? So where is the Jewish History Month? Where is the Chinese or Japanese History Month? Why does it require a month of celebration?
I also wouldn’t use that comparison. Questioning why an emergency service vehicle is dealing with a serious sitution and not dealing with you (with no situation) compared to a man not wanting a month dedicated to LGBT doesn’t make sense. It’s more like the LGBT Club having a pizza party while the persecuted Chinese and Japanese Americans Club that just has a pizaa whenever they want.

Where's my month for feet appreciation?
OT: Happy late pride month. Live and let live, that's what I think about pride month. If people want to party up being "different" (for a lack of a better term), go for it.
Lol, if people don't care about Gay's then why are you bitching about people having fun and doing parades?
It's literally a month about loving everyone and just enjoying yourself. Don't have to be gay to go and enjoy the events. Fuck off with the "where's my month" Never had to hide from being beaten or killed just because you love someone.
Yes it's pride month, but it also celebrates love.
Much like radical feminism movement being associated with moderate feminism, the pride movement is an unfortunate joke hijacked by the radical LGBT+ movement with the mindset of "If you're not with us you're against us." Most people simply do not care either way, but when they see the strange, obscure and indecent pride events is it any wonder they shift their mindset otherwise?
Forcing the ideological views by making random characters in pop culture gay, trans or otherwise just for the sake of inclusion when they had no previous notions..
People are unusually reserved, quiet and respectful in their political views, it's when they're attacked they become quite outspoken and outward with their views. (The election of Donald Trump from the left is an excellent example of this.) Attacking peoples views and beliefs because they won't openly support the LGBT movement is likely to turn an otherwise respectful, quiet and albeit 'not accepting' individual into someone who becomes outright Anti-LGBT.
There really aren't that many people who hate LGBT people, just a good lot who do not accept it and you can't change that with any amount of forced inclusion or primal chest beating.
