Totalbiscuit was a popular and extremely influential Youtuber with over 2.2 million subscribers. After many years of battling cancer, he has died today, May 24th. Known for his funny commentary and long history with making videos, this is certainly a major loss to the Youtube community. May he rest in peace.

no what the fuck actually shocked

RIP
Holy shit the poor man. Didn’t see this coming...
I think everyone truly believed he'd be one of the lucky ones and survive for 10 years plus. Sadly not the case. Hold your families and friends tight everyone, life isn't fair and you never know how long you have.
Tb is one of those youtuber I always came to for reviews and such, he was always open about his opinions, and biases. While he has done certain things I do not agree with, or certain opinions, its a shame to see such a prominent youtuber, gamer, and personality gone. He continued to work, and creative videos, and enjoy life all the way through his battle. I did not expect it to go this rapidly, and I hoped he would continue to fight it, and eventually win. He will be missed
I hadn't heard about his death until I read the title of the thread and I literally shouted out WHAT THE FUCK.
Rest in peace you beautiful man.
What's amazing is the outpouring of support from both the community and companies.

Hell, the ESL did a segment on him https://streamable.com/8rlf2

The BBC have a report up https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-44250597

A man who stood up for customers, and supported his opinions, even if they weren't popular.

People have two deaths. Once when they breath their last, and once when their name is forgotten. I think we can agree, John has gained immortality. Rest In Peace you cynical brit.
