1. I mentioned that jokingly to others, though not wholeheartedly that's for sure.

2. Yea, I have quite a bit of an ego, since I used to be bullied for most of my childhood so
when it stopped, I started caring more about myself, growing my confidence and becoming a better person.
And yea, I still have many many insecurities about myself, for which I often compensate with boasting.

3. Shoving it in others' face I believe is an overstatement, but if I do so, I challenge everyone who knows me
to let me know so I can tone myself down.

4. When I was younger many people were nice to me only to fool me into thinking that people actually liked me.
They did not save for 1 guy in both elementary and in high school (not counting my family). This has made me become
very self-aware and resulting in many days where I feared going back to school. To be honest I still have a hard time sometimes
deciding whether someone's really being nice to me or just pranking me. This has made it very hard for me to open up to people
and thus I decided to make my "image" this overly confident guy who doesn't care about others' opinions and sometimes acts like a douche.

5. I hope those I'm honored to call my friends realized that I'm not a douche in reality.

All in all, I became an egoistic, self-centered adult, who is still very insecure inside.
I hope this post got some things cleared up and it wasn't meant as an excuse for those I may have hurt or annoyed in the past.

PS: This post was not meant as a "counter" for what you said Bambo, as I agree with you, I do put myself on a high pedestal sometimes. The sole reason I thought you were a bad staff is because of that "sad" comment but now I see why you made it.
I will remove the part about you from my post.
As for my public image ruined or by this post or something, I don't really care as I don't really play in the community anymore.
Least I left with a clear consciousness.

I've always held you in high regard on the server and enjoyed playing with you the majority of the time. You speak your mind freely and this isn't something to be ashamed of, most people on this server won't. Your personality can annoy other at time but I never had a problem with it, mainly because my personality either makes players like me or strongly dislike me.

I went inactive during the shitstorm that occurred so my opinion of you is based on how I used to know you.

However what I can't sit by idly and read is a public personal attack on a member of my family.

To singly out people in a thread in attempt to gain attention is pretty shitty and find what you said confusing considering you yourself have no experience in development regardless any experience being on the development team.

Being a developer for Limelight isn't a job, yes there is monetary compensation/rewards for your work however developers aren't formally employed. They aren't given a set salary or paid hourly for the work they do.

As Paul has stated himself he is in the middle of his exams, and leading up to this period he has had to devote his time towards studying for them. Obviously his exams are a greater priority than Limelight. There has also been other events in our personal lives that has meant that the free time he has been decreased.

Something I find ironic and insulting is that for other staff members you've stated that you don't know their personal lives and given them the benefit of the doubt for such, this isn't something that you've extended to Paul. Find it funny that in a thread which you shame ass-kissing staff, you still seem to be doing it yourself.

I can't comment on Paul's work because being frank, I'm not fully aware of it. I have no idea what he does or how it works and I know for a fact that you don't either.

I see no reason why you've personally attacked Paul's RP when in no way is he breaking the rules. I find it highly amusing that a disgraced staff member can attack someones RP when they them self couldn't follow the rules they we're put in a position to enforce.

I could go on for days on how much this has angered me and how ironic it is for you to say such things but I'd just be droning on. If you want to discuss how you've treated a member of my family like shit and publicly humiliated him feel free to send me a PM.

And to anybody else who has a problem with myself or Paul use private channels because I swear to god if I see shit like this on a forum board again I won't be as a civil.[/font]

I actually used to manage Contributors for a (VERY) small amount of time and discuss the office politics of the Development world with Devs and their Superiors. I didn’t expect you to know that, so I understand your lack of that knowledge. From what those people say + the amount of bug reports on Paulb’s work, I consider him a bad Dev. The IG issue comes from what I’ve seen from him and what others have said (#FUMUKUBIAS).

Also, I don’t have to be in the field to be able to criticize work. Criticizing work is open to all, including you.

Check top text please. The text is still there, so if he can say all of those bug reports are for his lack of time (more than just exam time mind you) or from lack of experience then I will give the benefit of the doubt. And I would like to ass which ass I’m kissing up to as the ones I did are already my friends (at least I consider them to be mine). Not to mention why would I ass kiss if I have no plan on becoming a higher rank other than Member?

Check a few points up please. I don’t know the details of the work, but I do know their outcomes and problems to a broad idea. Not to say he hasn’t made good contributions, but for me his negatives outweigh his positives.

1. I got warnings for trying to keep the server entertaining and IC instead of punishing players. (Also very ironic when you say I can’t criticize a Dev since I don’t do Dev work but it’s ok for you to criticize my staff work when you know nothing staff internals.

2. He isn’t the only one I attack. I also attacked LJS, Givens Family, and other RP Groups for their lack of care into their RP’s. Just because it’s within the rules doesn’t make it a good or experienced RP. It’s just hitting the minimum. But again, this isn’t personal. If he has personal reasons (short on time or stressed out) then I completely understand that.

His bug reports and bare minimum RP skills are doing that, not me. And I don’t feel I should go to PM when you didn’t.

I think that would result in a punishment on the forums. No need to get all up in arms about it. I don’t consider PaulB, Rock or anyone else I said something negative of to be my friend, but I surely don’t hate them. I don’t agree with their roles, not the person.

On phone so mind the grammar and spelling errors.

I do hope this is the end of the arguing. If you do wish to comment please leave it to a goodbye or a well criticized post. I’d rather not have to respons to multiple “Eat shit Soviet” posts and I’m sure staff would appreciate it as well.

From the perspective from myself running The Givens Family I'd like to thank you for the honest and constructive feedback provided by not only you but a couple of other members of the community. Receiving feedback and criticism is one of the only ways we can improve. Sure, it might hurt to hear it but once you've taken the points and listened to them, only then can you reflect and determine if the issues are actually issues and how you can begin to resolve them.

Since receiving the feedback I've taken a look at the overall position of the Givens Family and have adjusted our RP to be more tame, include more passive elements as well as an overarching backstory as well as goals for the group as a whole. We're also looking to integrate with other RP groups/clans more to provide a Mafia element to other people RPs if they desire it.

This should give us more to focus on in terms of realistic goals, rather than just doing aggressive RP for the sake of aggressive RP and hopefully will encourage other people to do the same. We've also opened up our intake pretty wide to include a lot of the more aggressive players on the server hopefully teaching them that you can do aggressive RP without the need to constantly be pulling the trigger. We've also scrapped any OOC applications and instead encourage users to interact with us or drop us a message IC.

Although I've already said goodbye to you in private I thought I would take the time to say it publicly and address a couple of the concerns here. 

Good luck  , it's been great working with you and I really hope we can continue to play together in the future. You're welcome to give me a shout any time.

Let's keep future arguments off of this thead.

I felt I was kind of a douche sometimes so I wanted to be clear on that. You are new to the community so you'll understand someday hopefully.
