TACKLING ILLICIT FIREARMS TRAFFICKING in your community

Residents of Rockford,

Tonight the ATF tackled an illegal firearms trafficker, along with assistance from the officers at Rockford Armed Response.

I can now confirm that at this time the organisation known as "Black Cobra Enteprises" is now a federally proscribed criminal organisation and is being investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives for weapons trafficking and other federal firearms charges.

ATF have currently arrested two individuals now believed to be from Black Cobra Enteprises, Jack Crow and Hans Omaicock. Crow has been released on bail by the ATF (his bail conditions will be attached to this press release for ease of enforcement by local and state authorities) and Omaicock has been prosecuted by state authorities, however the ATF will be looking into bringing charges against him.

Crow was arrested today by ATF Agents after being found with several shipments of illegally modified fully-automatic AR-15s in the back of a courier truck. The weapons have been confiscated as evidence at this time.

I can also confirm that the firearms haul in the last press release were found in the Black Cobra Enteprises office, and will soon be confiscated by federal authorities to be destroyed.

I will attach some pictures of today's anti-trafficking operation, and Mr Crow's bail conditions. The ATF asks that any local law enforcement who catch him breaking these conditions should arrest & deliver him to ATF custody immediately.

ARSON INVESTIGATION

Earlier, ATF Agents were called to the scene of an arson-in-progress at an industrial property on the outskirts of Rockford. When they arrived, they found a contained but in-progress fire.

The fire was extinguished by Marion County firefighters and ATF Agents began to investigate. The source of the fire has been identified to be a molotov thrown at the property. No one was injured in the fire, which damaged a public footway leading throughout the industrial district. Anyone with information which may lead to the arrest of the person responsible for the arson attack is asked to contact the investigating agents: SSA Jamie Craddock (), or report to the local Rockford Field Office at Town Hall Parking, 103-1 Cosmos St. Anonymous tips can be made to ASAC Knight (). You could be entitled to a reward of up to $1000.

Below are some pictures from the scene:

HR Update

Dear Citizens,

After careful evaluation amongst the HR team, we have decided to promote Acting ASAC Alexander Knight to the full position of ASAC. He role within the ATF will not change but this will confirm his position and there is no chance of him returning to his former position of Supervisory Special Agent.

Knight is a crack agent and we are sure he will not let us down in field operations.

Yours Sincerely,
Katherine Moore

APPEAL FOR INFORMATION

91-RF-0001
INVESTIGATING OFFICERS: SA H. BOSCH (), SpSA A. BAHL ()

ATF Agents are looking to trace the identities of several individuals believed to be involved with the "Chiesta Mafia" and believed to be involved with a recent bank robbery and hostage situation that occurred on the 11th of May.

We are appealing for any witnesses and/or footage from the incident, and are also appealing to find the whereabouts of several named witnesses who we believe could be crucial in our investigation: Zlatan Ibruski, Erik Dahlberg and Koji Inagawa. If you know these people, please encourage them to contact the Rockford Field Office of the ATF quoting case number 91-RF-0001, or contact the investigating officers directly.

We are also looking for several suspects whom we believe may be involved with the robbery and Chiesta Mafia. At this time we are still pending further investigation into the identities of three suspects, however have identified two suspects.

The first suspect is Sophia Primxa, described as nromal height with shoulder-length blonde hair and blue eyes. She is believed to be the leader of the group. The second suspect is Charlos Brown, a suspect known to the ATF who currently has a warrant out for his arrest for several federal firearms offences as well as attempted murder. All suspects are believed to be armed and dangerous at this time, and should not be approached. Instead, you should contact the Rockford Field Office via it's emergency line if you see them.

As usual, any anonymous tips can be made to myself. (ASAC A. Knight )

Yesterday, the ATF provided support to local police officers.

Heading back to the field office after a call, Special Agent Bosch and Assistant Special Agent-in-Charge Knight came across contraband scattered across the street. They cordoned off the contraband and alerted the local police to remove it.

Agents were also involved in a shootout last night at 10 Richard Drive after they assisted the Rockford Police Department with locating a loose gunman. ATF Agents tracked the man to a house where he barricaded himself in and exchanged shots with agents until a SWAT Officer took him down, becoming injured in the process. The officer is recovering in hospital, and the armed gunman, Boshine Jackson, is currently serving a custodial sentence in the county jail.

UPDATE - RECENT ACTIVITY

Dear Citizens of Rockford,

We have been rather busy lately in the office due to a backlog of case and incident reports which require completion, as well as preparations to move to our new purpose-built office block field office in the entertainment district of Rockford.

As we prepare to move into this new office, we have also began to roll out some minor reforms and new equipment. Soon, we'll be receiving our first shipments of new uniform items which include ATF jackets, body armour, polo shirts and duty belts. These new items will allow us to operate more visibly in the Rockford/Marion County area, and fairly soon you'll see ATF Agents behind crime scene tape in their blue "ATF POLICE" jackets. As we move into 2018, we also hope that we will be able to outfit our SRT team with the latest tactical technology to help protect them on operations.

Today, our Field Division Director announced our new internal and external medals, in line with the rest of the ATF nationally as it updates it's medals and honours. As part of our new policy, agents who qualify for a medal will be issued one by our Field Director or another suitable/higher person. Another unique part of our policy is that we now have external medals, which can be awarded for qualifying action by our external partners and associated personnel, such as local, county and state police officers. Our new medals and honours can be found here

We now have our new expanded website/internal database (ooc: clan forums!) which can be accessed here. Our agents can access the internal secured database via separate secure access.

Finally, I can also announce that ATF will be appealing for witnesses to an incident that occured on Richard Drive on a yet to-be-confirmed after footage emerged of the murder of a police officer occurring by members of The Givens Family. If you saw this incident or have any more information to provide to the ATF then please contact the investigating agents, either myself, SA Lewis Holland () or SSA Jamie Craddock (). As usual, if you have any anonymous tips to give then please contact myself via private message in the strictest confidence. Footage of the incident can be found here. Please be warned, some people may find this footage incredibly disturbing as it does feature images of a person being shot - view at your own risk.

Thank you all very much for reading, and I can assure you all in the coming days we will see an upping in the amount of ATF activity in the Rockford/Marion County area.

UPDATE - RECENT ACTIVITY

Dear Citizens of Rockford,

Today we carried out a number of operations in the City of Rockford. These included tackling an illegal money launderer, illegal weapons manufacturer and carrying out a number of joint operations checkpoints with members of the local police and Rockford Armed Response.

Money Laundering

SRT Agents and a CID Agent were mobilised to the Mesa Apartments to investigate reports of suspicious activity from a first-floor apartment. They attempted to make contact with the occupant however received no answer to the door. Making their way onto the balcony, they were able to observe large metal doors protecting the apartment. An agent used a ladder to look through a window and positively identified the presence of contraband inside.

After this, agents put on their tactical gear and stacked up on the door, breaching it and quickly clearing the apartment of any resistance. In a back room, agents located several money printers and drug labs, with a total income at the time of the raid of over $15,000 (it is believed that the printers had been left idle for quite some time). In accordance with federal money laundering law, the sum of laundered money was seized by the ATF for investigation and will be handed over to appropriate federal authorities. The money laundering equipment was handed over to local authorities, and will be forensically examined before being destroyed.

After finding the equipment, agents attempted to track down the owner of the apartment. The owner was tracked down to 190 Main Street and, travelling in convoy, SRT agents quickly surrounded the woman and placed her under arrest. She was transferred to the custody of Rockford County pending money laundering and unrelated assault charges.

Below are some pictures from this operation;

Illegal Weapons Store Closed

Working at the reception of the field office, we received a tip-off from a member of local police that an unlicensed gunstore was operating on 190 Main Street selling illegal weapons.

We sent out two agents to investigate, and they made contact with the owner. An inspection of the property found no weapons on-site, however records showed that weapons were being sold from the business.

We closed the business down and informed the owner that he would need to get a licence to own a gun store from the local government.

Joint Operations

As an exercise to improve community safety and foster good working relations between local and federal organisations, we hosted two Joint Operations Checkpoints.

Empowered by local public safety ordnance, we set up our first checkpoint on Waverly St. with members of Rockford Armed Response and members of the local Oregon State Police. This checkpoint did not turn up much, but allowed us to work closely together with partner organisations.

Our second checkpoint was set up on Grant Avenue, using the currently unused RTA building to assist with checkpoint operations.

This checkpoint, operated jointly between RAR and ATF, with a local Sheriff Deputy controlling traffic, was much more eventful and ended up with a total of 4 arrests being made for varying offences. Chief among these was the discovery of a male attempting to unlawfully smuggle drugs through the checkpoint in the back of a Mercedes Sprinter van. The drugs were confiscated and the male currently faces investigation.

FIELD OFFICE FINALLY COMPLETE

Dear Citizens of Rockford,

Some of you will remember that a while ago I announced the construction of our new field office at 310 Grif. Drive. This took a long while as we went between contractors and decided on a design. After finally deciding on a small, local construction company (ooc: myself), we were gladly presented with this new building; the Rockford ATF Field Office.

Now, thanks to this new building, we will be able to more effectively run our operations, clamp down on crime and increase federal influence and law enforcement activity within Rockford.

This building is a new glimmer of hope for Rockford, and will serve as a beacon of changes to come.

BOMB THREAT

Dear citizens of Rockford,

Last night our agents were called out to a suspected white nationalist terrorist cell. Inside, agents found shrapnel, nails, plastic explosives, firearms, pressure cookers and other materials that we cannot currently disclose due to an ongoing investigation.

The uncovering of this cell presents a much larger threat to Rockford at this time - we are unsure if there are more devices or more members of the terrorist cell, however our intelligence currently suggests that it would be safe to assume so. We will be investigating this very closely, taking the lead alongside the FBI and local authorities.

If you see anything suspicious, or if anything doesn't look right; report it. You can contact the ATF or FBI directly for anonymous tips. In an emergency, always call 911. Remember; see it, say it, sort it.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT REGARDING TERRORISM INVESTIGAITON

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

As of this morning I can now confirm that we have now re-prioritised our investigation into the recent terror threat (see previous press release).

One female suspect aged around 20 was arrested on terrorism offences and remains in custody for the time being. We will likely be pressing charges on terror offences.

Upon searching said female's house, ATF and NRC agents found white supremacist material, illegal firearms and radioactive fissile material which was confiscated by the NRC.

As we can find no other leads at this time, we will be transferring this case to our cold cases unit and disbanding joint ATF-FBI-NRC-RDCD and National Guard Task Force Tribus effective immediately.

I wish to make it clear, however, that the case is not closed and if any leads of interest or concern do come up we will begin a full investigation once more, however at this time we and our partners believe that the threat has been eliminated.

For security purposes, we and our partners have decided that it would be best not to release photographs from our recent operations due to this investigation.

RECENT OPERATIONS

Dear citizens,

Tonight we stopped a truck suspected to be illegally carrying explosives and cigarettes through Rockford without correct hazard signage, authorisation or DOT registration.

On board the truck, our agents found biological agents and medical waste initially thought to be Anthrax and Bubonic Plague samples. Our SRT was immediately notified for a HAZMAT situation, and the area was closed off in cooperation with state police and county sheriff's. We also notified the Centers for Disease Control to attend and deal with the situation.

During this, we also received a call about a heavy chemical fire at the truck company's nearby warehouse, and an SRT agent attended and was able to take air samples of the smoke confirming the presence of contaminants. For safety reasons, we moved the truck to this location once the fire was out as it was easier to control and decontaminate. CDC arrived, examined the situation and carried out tests and found the truck and warehouse to contain many samples of Dengue Fever. It was deemed safe to destroy these samples and they were taken to and destroyed by the Marion County Department of Sanitation.

At this point in time, the CDC determine that there is no risk to the public health from the incident. An incident report has been forwarded to the DOT and county sheriff, and will be made public in the near future.

I can also confirm at this point, due to the temporary reopening of the federal government, our public relations unit and front desk will be reopened for the next three weeks.
