His History
Jeff grew up in the pleasant neighborhood of Villas, at least at the time. He grew up with a good family (only child), and was a hard worker. His academic status was excellent and excelled in High School but yet modest and pleased with his achievements. Jeff found his love for Politics in High School, where the subject he took "History" interested him in power, leadership and the academia that Politics entails. Jeff could never serve in the Military, he wasn't that type of person. So he decided that the Government was a good way to serve. Jeff thought of himself more of a "Leader" more than a "Schemer''. That's probably why he got elected, he didn't seem "Sketchy". As he progressed in his academia, he got into the University of Evo, where he eventually obtained a PhD in Political Science. He thought University Life was pleasant, but really just enjoyed learning. Jeff got a job in the Evo Government Center (Nexus) as a Desk Secretary, hoping he could use it to pounce on a Government Job opportunity. Jeff never liked the Job, it didn't feel as if he could maximize his potential. One day, on August 11th, 2011, Evo Secretary Of State Kevin Maxwell resigned, due to disagreement on how to deal with the ECPF (EvoCity Patriots Front - A Fascist Terrorist Group which started conflict in June 2016). Ford saw this as a chance, and as the President announced the resignation, he told his Chief Of Staff to start getting a shortlist together. So Jeff posted an email, with his resume and he ended up on the shortlist. So, on August 11th, a month after employment as a Desk Secretary, Jeff was named the new Evo Secretary of State. Jeff agreed with President Walker on dealing with the ECPF and Jeff, through his term, made many notable agreements and diplomatic policy; like the Summer Agreement of 2012, which involved relief of Tension between Evo and Argentina. Jeff served as Evo Secretary Of State for 6 Years, where in September 2017, after President Walker's Two Terms, he announced his candidacy for President of Evo for 2018. Jeff was doing well in polls and public engagements, but fell behind after he denounced violence in Ghettos and was dubbed a "Snob". He was still in the lead, but not by much. However everything changed on the 26th of November, where debates were occurring in the Nexus, when a bomb went off killing 2 Cabinet Members, 1 senior staff member and injuring 3 citizens. The ECPF claimed responsibility. After this, Jeff decided to move to Truenorth/Rockford, after he and President Walker personally saw the ECPF be eradicated before January's Inauguration.
Jeff returned to Evo in July 2019, and ran for office. He ran successfully and now serves as the President of the Federal Republic of Evo since July/August 2019.
Present Day
Jeff currently serves as the President of the Federal Republic of Evo. Jeff is a Liberal, and many of his policies reflect toughness on Crime, Terrorism, and Emergency Management, and most importantly Democracy and Anti-Corruption and Brutality.
Jeff married during his Presidency to Stephanie Triese, who of course served as First Lady, however she died of a cardiac arrest. Jeff's politics was not greatly affected, yet his rationality concerned colleagues, but Jeff got over this within 2 months. He and his wife were close, but he had to move on.
Jeff's political direction is a Centrist/Liberal, a Staunch Liberal and advocates massively for such ideals.
ECPF and Bloody Sunday
The EvoCity Patriots Front was a Fascist Terrorist Organization that was formed after a spike in Extremist-Nationalist Movements and ideologies. The ECPF were involved themselves in Guerrilla Warfare including Shootings, Bombings and Kidnappings of those who publicly opposed them including Government Officials, Diplomats, Media and Members of Congress and the Senate.
The ECPF was Formed in July 2014 and started with subversive threats, messages and Fascist and Racist propaganda but never really started conflict until June 2015 when a Car Bomb blew up in Connectivity Tunnel. No one was injured, and the ECPF claimed responsibility. From there, the ECPF were involved in numbers terrorists events and activity, including;
- The Attempted Assassination of the Russian Prime Minister during the Russian Delegation.
- The Attempted RPG attack on the Nexus in an attempt to kill the Cabinet.
- A Shooting on Main Street killing 5 people, injuring 25.
- Faltered bomb attempt of the 1st Argentinian Delegation to negotiate and relieve Tension over oceanic waters.
- Sporadic Shootings/Bombings/Conflict throughout 2016/Early 2017 becoming less and less as Tensions against the Group got so high, and Intelligence was starting to kick in.
- Bloody Saturday; A Successful Bombing on the Nexus during a Presidential Debate and President Walker endorsing Secretary Ford for President. Killed 6 People, Including 2 Cabinet Members, and a Senior Staffer for the President. Injured 30.
Evo Secretary Of State Jeff Ford was injured during the events of Bloody Saturday due to shrapnel in his leg, but was discharged from the General Bower Air Force Hospital the same day. He also received treatment for PTSD following the events. He has no minimal feeling in his left leg, however, he thankfully retained the ability to walk.
The EvoCity Patriots Front was eradicated on the 1st of December 2017 after a raid on a Stronghold of the ECPF was successful. A Massive Operation was conducted beforehand by Homeland Security Operatives and National Security Agencies, and a massive taskforce was deployed to the stronghold that day including operatives of the Defence Force, Homeland Security Agency and Local SWAT Teams and also an Special Operations Team from the Domestic Intelligence Agency. The Raid lasted 4 Hours and 5 Members of the ECPF were killed, 15 were arrested and 10 members of the Government Taskforce were injured.
