Here is my screenshot from the situation
Good Evening Fregley,
Thank you for taking time from your schedule to write such a detailed PR, we appreciate your effort.
I'll cut the story short, the cable management of my PC is ridiculous. It really is. The power cable at the back is very temperamental (held in by some insulating tape). This is because there was an incident, resulting in my Power Supplies output port being damaged. After just coming back from holiday - I was in a rush to set my computer back up, so I hadn't really sorted my cables out properly. And when I was driving (in-game) I turned my chair around to reach for my drink (hence why I crashed at that moment in time). And my foot was somehow tangled in my power cable, pulling it out from the crude tape securement. Consequently leading for me to disconnect, as the power to my computer was lost.
Thank you for your continued support and co-operation Fregley.
Regards,
Elliot.
Elliot, surely if you had known of the "temperamental power cable", for so long, you would have to take the time out to fix this so it wouldn't be a problem when playing in Garry's Mod or any other games you play. I find it hard to believe also as a loose power cable can be very dangerous around your PC. Why would you continue to put yourself in danger just because you were "in a rush", surely your wellbeing is more important than Garry's Mod, I assume?
Hello Fregley,
Thank you for your swift reply on my PR.
It is not posing an immediate risk, but I appreciate your concern for my wellbeing.
If it helps you get to sleep tonight, knowing I'm safe - I am ordering a new power supply in the coming weeks.
Regards,
Elliot.
I really doubt that your foot pulled that out in that exact moment. Why didnt you tell about that when you joined back to the server?
Of course everything is possible, but I doubt this incident.
Hello,
Fregley was not online when I rejoined, and I attempted to search for him on Steam to no avail. (He was the only person I had identified from the pursuit, if I had identified more people - that may still have been online, I would've messaged them.)
I understand that this incident may be difficult to believe, but I thought that when I crashed, it would be a good opportunity to reach for a drink as I was coasting to a stop.
Regards,
Elliot.
This is currently being investigated further.
After 20 minutes of testing by myself and , this player report is being approved.
The accused D/C'd to avoid an RP confrontation. Pulling your power plug does not lead to a "Disconnect by User" message, as a disconnect packet is never sent.
A two day suspension shall be issued.
