The issue lies with the President (Leon) who made the laws, it's not up to us to check if he's got dictator RP permission. If you wasn't sure he had dictator RP permission then you could have made an .
Personally I don’t find it dictatory (I know that’s not a word). The trabant is a broken down vehicle that can only just work, the tires are lopsided, the lights barely work. It’s a danger to the public, why not ban them?

Oh so if you're a new player; you've just learnt how to make money and you buy a trabant to get around and then someone goes up to you and says "Oh you're not allowed that" and takes it away even though there was perfect driving - That's wrong. I don't particularly mind for myself but what I do mind is that I got arrested for 15 minutes for it, I'd expect a $500 and my car confiscated which I would have been fine with. It's also the fact the Leon allowed ForceGhost to pick a punishment when Leon decided the law thus he should decided the punishment.

You just pretty much concluded this discussion by taking a roleplay situation out of context like that.

Not only did you try to shamepole us by saying only SWAT was involved (whilst we almost immediately called in for a patrol unit to assist around 190 Main St. and the rear of the Fire Dept as this wasn't our primary task), you also succeeded to show how you guys were driving when passing us and even in the corner prior to passing us (which I took note of).

You guys were driving recklessly, drove past a scene we, the local SWAT team, were included in, drove off when the LEOs on-scene (included us) tried to stop you, and we ran into both of you when on the way back to the station.

Like stated, we're still sworn LEOs and have all the right to stop a vehicle a BOLO has been given out for. Even if it was a verbal BOLO and not a written one.

I'm not repeating what I just said - I stopped, thought about it and then drove around what ever you were doing, non of us hit your car so ForceGhost lied about that. You don't need to use a SWAT van in a road side stop to arrest them for stopping in the road and driving an illegal car. That is the job of the police.

Outlawing certain vehicles isn't a dictatorial act. This is the same with banning all or any vehicle whether it be the Trabant, transit or DB5. As long as the President has a reason in his own words or gives notification if staff requests it then that is fine. Personally, giving the reason on the law board would be lovely however outlawing a certain vehicle is not a dictatorial act.

Upon the Topic of Government Roleplay and Corruption. Personally, After watching every single video provided I simply find this as a POV situation. The S.W.A.T was finalising a situation at the Car Dealership. They view a few vehicles in which one car stops and another ram into the back of it. Whether anything happened that I may have missed is my own mistake. S.W.A.T didn't require to do the situation however due to the Lockdown at the time of the situation they have ever the reason to support or continue the Situation they were doing.

Could the arrest warrant be detailed with what actually the user is charged with instead of quite large or limited meaning words? Yes. I noticed one reason which they were called for being Reckless Driving wasn't actually listed in the warrant (At least from what I remember viewing).

Did the S.W.A.T overreact to anything in the situation? No. I personally believe the S.W.A.T has handled the situation the same way a Police Officer would have, whether it be simply due to the actions taken in the voice or physically.

Was the warrant expended a little too much? Personally, I believe yes - Simply due to what was stated in the warrant and for what reasons. With the thought of unable to check for priors due to the JD situation there can't be much they can check upon on the PoliceDB without any ID of any kind.

What do I think about the Line between Government and Corruption? I don't believe this is corruption. I just believe this is a Governmental situation that turned into a clusterfuck with the President and Secret Service getting involved and then it got pear-shaped. It simply wasn't the easiest to focus on especially with how everyone was talking at one time.

I was more pointing towards the fact of the president being rude and also allowing ForceGhost to choose the punishment - When ForceGhost chose the longest and harshest one Leon got excited.

There were still plenty of free police officers that could have done it, one of ForceGhost's main reasons to pull us over has been debunked

He literally was just asked to pick the punishment - This would never happen in real life. To add to this point it's kind of ironic how Wesley and ForceGhost are referring to in real life terms that aren't used in game yet they CHOSE my punishment they literally were just asked to pick a number.

Well it's certainly awful rp/handling and the way the president acted it seemed it was in a very dictatored fashion ( <<< I know that's not a word)

1) I don't agree with the way Leon chose the punishment.

2) Can you link me to the post where this was "Debunked"

3) It wasn't driving the trabant that lead to your arrest. It was the reckless driving.

4) That's the way FearRP works.. If we don't have our weapons out then you don't have to follow our orders.

5) Yet again, as with every post I've made this isn't something I agree with. I was simply ordered to pick a number.

6) I agree that the way Leon issues the 15 minutes wasn't right in my opinion. But as far as I'm aware there's no rule to prevent him doing this.

What have I told you forceghost! Let other people have an opinion, we’ve given the context and now people can comment on how it was handled p. You could choose any punishment yet you chose 15 minutes

I don't think you have any right to exclude anyone from posting here. Especially when it's involving a person (along with me) that you're trying to get a discussion started at. If you didn't want to have a discussion, you shouldn't have posted it here and left it for what it was. You broke the law and decided to drive off from the scene before we could even figure out what happened. Don't do the crime, if you can't do the time. Period.

The funny thing is that this isn't just about you guys; as much as you'd love it to be. It's about the government, I want to focus on the law of not being able to drive a trabant. We've passed both of your very aggressive IC approaches, we've had context from both of you now lets not regurgitate what this thread has been saying for the past day.

Then focus on that law and not on the local SWAT team being involved in a felony stop of which you two were to blame for.

Also, had you worked on your thread structure a bit more (obviously), this discussion wouldn't have happened.
A discussion about a law like that points towards dictatorship, which I still disagree with as the Trabant is a shit MV and is everything but roadworthy, and not what the line between ''normal governmentRP'' and ''corrupt governmentRP'' is.

Good, so now that this has been said; I'll go spend my time on more important things instead of a really stretched out thread that reads ''I feel like this is a random arrest, because we broke the law and they caught us doing so, time for me to complain OOCly''.

Have a great day, Quest.

You too wesley, perhaps you could be less aggressive in game
Please stick to the topic of the thread rather than complaining how people choose conduct themselves in their chosen character identity in-game. Thank you.

Well considering the majority of the staff team have clicked on this and have read it and haven't mentioned shit about it being in discussions then I don't see an issue with it. Thank you.
Second time, stick to the topic or this will be closed.
