It only really happens on limelight and sandbox and it takes a while to happen consistently on sandbox. It didn't happen of fearless either but I have seen it on darkrp aswell.

Did you try what I suggested?
I know that this response will sadly not be of any help, but the fact that I simply couldn't get on LimeLight on my Mac no matter what I tried was one of the reasons I built myself a new gaming rig.
My best guess is that there is simply something on Limelight that doesn't play well with mac OS, but I wish you the bet of luck in getting it to work!

And I know we said no more of these comments, but Bootcamp or PlayOnMac might actually be one of your easiest/only solutions.

Yes and while it gave higher Fps it didn't change crashing.
Add -condebug to your launch parameters, try joining Limelight and wait for the crash. Once done, please upload the contents of the console.log file into a pastebin and post it here. You'll find the file in the base of your GMOD install.

I have my suspicions about what it is, but want to confirm.

Apologies, work had me very busy.

Good news is that the problem isn't caused by what I thought it was. Bad news is that I'm not entirely sure what's causing this.

Could you switch to the dev branch of GMOD, and try again please? Click here to get more info on how you can do this. Additionally, please update this thread within the next couple of days or you may run the risk of this being closed.
Seen you online today, can you confirm that the issue has been resolved?

No, I was using bootcamp.

Please ensure you're subscribed to the following addons:

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f...=632470227

If that still makes no difference, then please ensure that you stay on the dev branch of GMOD, delete the following folders and then verify game integrity, Once this is done, try again.

/garrysmod/cfg
/garrysmod/settings
/garrysmod/data
/garrysmod/download
/garrysmod/downloads
/garrysmod/downloadlists
/garrysmod/gamemodes/base
/garrysmod/gamemodes/sandbox
/garrysmod/gamemodes/terrortown
/garrysmod/lua
/garrysmod/cl.db
/garrysmod/sv.db
/garrysmod/mn.db
/garrysmod/cache

Could you also show me the window which appears when you go to the "About this Mac" when you click on the Apple logo?

I will try the rest later when I have time.

I did so, and it now crashes with "Lua panic, not enough memory"! and other times just instant crashes
Get windows

I remember there was same kind of case, I'll try to find that thread
Any update from this
