Just wanted to make an Bug report for it too,lol.
The thing is not only the visible license plate, but the fact that you cannot track them down, using the Radar Gun. It keeps saying "License Plate: ' ' ". Even when you trigger the pursuit call.
Fixed I think as I have seen the plates in bmw i8
