Military influence has been reported on the outskirts of Rockford. Units on site declined comment on their intentions or allegiances. As many as 3 soldiers have been sighted in the compound. Have rising conflicts between organized crime syndicates reached the point of military intervention? Or is there another endeavour? Congress officials have refused to comment on the situation.

--PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT--
Amid growing concerns from the public, the U.S. National Guard has released the following statement:
"There is no need for concern regarding the buildup of military personnel on the outskirts of Rockford City. Due to the recent times of civil unrest in EvoCity, and the far-too-recent Chinese occupation of US soil, the 182nd Army Reserve Regiment has been reassigned to provide assistance to the Rockford Administration. Currently the site is under construction, and as such military personnel have been deployed to patrol and prevent civilian entry and/or injury.
All 182nd soldiers have been instructed not to disrupt civilians not impeding their work, and as such are not at liberty to discuss their current standing orders, in the interest of national safety. However any concerns regarding these developments are to be brought to 1LT. Charlie Hawke (OOC - forum PM). We cannot guarantee that all questions will be answered, but we can guarantee that there is nothing to be concerned about regarding an otherwise routine military redeployment."
