I am not sure, but can you try reconnecting your forum account with steam by pressing on the "STEAM connected" text and try again after that?
I get the same issue, it seems to be a bug with the clan system.

I tried it while in-game and while not in-game. Both times it came up with the same issue.
You may be best off creating a bug report for this because as Project said, it seems to be an issue with the clan system.

Issue was deemed not a problem for just the single user but with the clan system as a whole. As a result, a bug report should be made, which you can find
