If you read the thread, that was the addon that created the whole issue Tongue

I thought that was a v4b1 mapfix, not a v33x one.

Nope it was both of them sadly. But I have fixed the majority of my textures from the HL2 stuff. It's mainly the black screen and the sounds now

Next time you are on the server and are experiencing the aforementioned problem, open the console by pressing the associate key it is assigned to (you can see this in the options menu - the default key is `). Next, type "snd_dumpclientsounds" into the console; this will give you a full list of ongoing sounds. Copy and paste the outputted message here so we can proceed to solving the problem.

Sorry didn't see it
What's your games setting on?
(Mar 24, 2017, 12:50 AM)Nightmare Wrote: [ -> ]I'd like to confirm that the invisible GUI and etc isn't due to you overloading your CPU or other resources.

Could you please open up Task Manager, then open your "Performance" tab during your gameplay session? When you notice the issue occuring, check the Performance tab and screenshot for me?

It's not my CPU
But I have sent you the console.log
And you've definitely made sure that your drivers are up to date?

Yup
And the map fix caused this?

Yup, deleted the map fix and it's still broken
In your GMOD directory, there should be an executable file called FactoryReset-GMod.bat

Please run this executable and then launch Steam. You may need to redownload content files again, but try joining the server first.

Okay, I'm running the .bat file

Hi , download this ZIP file then unzip it. Navigate to Steam\SteamApps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\sound (if you do not have a sound folder, create one). Then simply drag the "ambient" folder there.

Hasn't done anything :/
If you ran the FactoryReset-GMod.bat file after you had applied the sound fix that Octagon had given you, you'll need to put it back in.
