"Hardened criminal" is not a job but a description, and mugging somebocy beacause you "encounter" him is not a valid reason to mug
Ok, I do see this as a violation of Rule 9.4. Criminal is to vague a term. Hardened or not, it is not allowed. You would need to use something more descriptive such as Mugger.
As you stated it, I would like to hear your good reason to mug him.
Also, , do not warn players of breaking rules. If you wish to make a PR on a player, congratulations. We don't need players running around screaming "I'm gonna PR you unless you stop!". It's just rude and allow staff to deal with these situations.

To be completely honest Mugger is not much more descriptive than criminal which is why i think my job title was fine. The only difference is mugger limits what you can do where as criminal gives you more you could do with an rp, but my opinion on that doesnt matter because of the rule i guess.
Basically i walked up to this guy while he was cutting trees and asked him what he was doing. he called me a jackass because of the way i parked my car and things escalated from there.

Actually it is a lot more descriptive. A Criminal could be a Mugger, Car Thief, Backstabber, Meth Cook, Money Launderer, etc. They do crime. A Mugger however mugs people, they extract money from people thru illegal means, a Criminal activity.
It has been established awhile ago that the use of Criminal is an invalid job title for the reason above. As for the limitation, that is rather the point. If you want to steal cars, steal them with the proper title, if you want to rob banks, do so, etc. However, we are not going to allow for one title to open up the doors for doing whatever you want without a proper roleplaying background. The fact that you changed your job to Mugger means that your intention for Roleplay for the evening was to Mug People, not cause random chaos on the servers.
As for your reasoning... that is why Criminal is not allowed. You decided to mug someone because they called you names. That is not a valid reason. In order to roleplay an illegal job title, we ask that you change you title to something appropriate, have a valid background behind why you are doing what you are doing, and have a base of operations. What you are telling me right now is that you decided to mug someone for the sole reason of them pissing you off. That is premeditated and there was no roleplay involved in that.
I'm going to give you 12 hours to respond to this before judgement is made.
Thank you for responding.
This report has been Approved.
User will receive a 2 Day Suspension for breakage of Rule 9.4, FailRP for your reasoning to mug someone, prior history and lack of enthusiasm to learn. If there is ever any question on if a job title is appropriate, it is your responsibility to ask a Teacher or a member of Staff, instead you chose to ignore advice and be confrontational about it. In addition, you do need a valid background and reason to mug someone. Someone calling you a name is not one of those. And, it seems clear in your responses above that you have no interest in learning from this information.
Armard. I will also warn you on breaking RP to create a report. You should wait until afterwards. This could be considered Backseat Administrating. Next time could result in a punishment on your end also.
