I like the idea of perma-death. Maybe if you die you get moved to an enclosed area off the map or something? (Ontop of the hotel, etc.)

Nothing like what I was talking about, if you die you continue in the event but via new character, a clean slate in which you will have to make friendships and build trust up with other characters all over again.
Since we now have inventory disabled and inventory sync disabled on the event server, it will be viable to place actual items to gather around the map. This means there is a lot more diversity available that is a lot better streamlined with less admin integration required. This means a more enjoyable experience for both parties.
Also, I like the idea of permadeath with new characters after each death.

Edit: Oh and, my apologies I had to leave so early into the first episode. I hope people didn't struggle too much taking my place at such short notice. Hope I can still participate in some way for the second.

At the first episode I tried adding a quest system but it didn't work as much as I hoped it would,

Instead, I am going to try to add a mini-event/quest idea into Episode 2.

If anyone played the game Guild Wars 2, then it is going to be like that events. Hopefully anyways.

Except that i (one of your SWAT units) died in an accident and got slaughtered by the survivors of the safe zone :l
