Full Version: Making source demos work

Is there a way to make source demos play nice with this gamemode? Whenever I make a demo and replay it, it ends up looking like this:

Notice the gamemode crashed and loading messages which stay in the middle of the screen throughout the entire demo, as well as the HUD in the bottom corner which shows $nil instead of the proper information. Is there a way to fix these issues?

It's a nice guide but it didn't really have the solution to my problem
we could do with adding code to detect if demo and not display

Burnett seems to have the answer to everything around here lol.

The code does not detect that that is a demo thus puts the text about the crashed gamemode up.

(I believe a suggestion would be more appropriate from this point)
