Your Name: Coupcake
Issued by: [L²] Enzyme
Blacklist ID: 66199 - 66201
Server: v4b
What happened: The blacklist was handed down by Enzyme after I played an icy prop into the road. I shortly after removing it before any serious chaos ensued. Shortly after Enzyme, my love appeared and we had a little sit. During the sit I admitted that I did place and miss-use the props for no more than 30 seconds, and told him what I did in an honest and mature way, I explained how I did it and everything Enzmye needed to apply the blacklist. I got the large, flat prop and placed one into the road with a physical property of "ice".
Why should you be unblacklisted?: Although I did indeed miss-use the props in a somewhat stupid way, I did happily admit it to Enzyme even after I removed the prop roughly 2 minutes before his arrival. The prop was down for no more than 30 seconds. This blacklist I believe should perhaps be removed off my record as I was honest and respectful to the staff member who issued it. I payed the price and believe my fair and honest actions helped justice be served.
This is a few months ago.
Thanks.

The staff-members have received your unblacklist-request, ♈ Coupcake ♈.
It will take a while for it to be reviewed.
From another staff member's perspective. Just because you were polite doesn't get it removed. Yes, if you're honest and mature you may get a shorter punishment, but you got the blacklist fair and square.

Indeed. But my request on that basis of being admitted to my fault there and then, with no other evidence to prove I'm guilty. As I previously mentioned the prop was there for no more than 30-60 seconds.
Regardless of how long it was there or how polite you were. You still did it. I don't see why it should be removed from your record since you did in fact do it.
A parking ticket doesn't get revoked just because you were nice and went across the street to drop off some mail. You still illegally parked... For example.
As such, I feel the best case for you would have been a reduced time, but not a complete removal from your record.

However it effected nobody other than myself from what I recall, and like I said it was removed 30-60 sec after the placement.

It is still a broken rule. It matters not who was affected. Server rules are server rules, which you broke. The only time it is allowed to break any rules is with admin permission.

I am aware that I may have broken a rule, I have dealt my time and am kindly requesting a removal from my record for the reason that there would have been no evidence unless I confessed, which I did do. I was completely honest and didn't complain or moan, served my time and continued to play.
Only at this point am I requesting a removal because of the above reasons and the age of it, which I'd say is a few months old.
Rule breakages get you punishments. Being polite doesn't mean it's going to disappear.
It doesn't matter howthe Blacklist came to it's conclusion, you deserved it and it will remain.

Do you suggest instead I don't admit to it, and face no punishments and record?

I suggest you accept your punishment and learn from your mistakes, not expect a reward just because you were kind.

I'm not expecting a "reward".

Then don't request one. An example being you asking for a valid blacklist to be removed from a record which staff have for a purpose.

I'm not requesting a reward. If I wanted a reward I'd go straight to Enzyme. Why is your attitude like that I don't understand. I'm politely requesting a removal off my record and the way I see it, you're being rather rude.

I'm not trying to be rude, but to explain to you that you wish to have a valid blacklist that was given to you for a valid reason and placed on your record (Something that staff have as an important asset) to be removed just for the reason that you were polite. Being polite is kind and we encourage players to act at that level of maturity in this situation, however we can't just remove it because you just want it off.
