Good morning community.
As you might have noticed we are facing a serious attack. We've actually dealt with attacks before, but we are now in position where we must invest into professional protection. Thanks to your donations and purchases, we are now able to go higher.
We currently have 3 system in place to further minimize the attack. We've actually mitigated a lot of it. However. As a matter of fact, it is impossible to fully stop it at software layer. That's where a protection vendor comes into play. Those vendors are able to mitigate an attack at router-/hardware layer. Since Limelight is a registered company, we can now have authorities to investigate too. Distributed denial of service attacks are a serious matter, especially in business related matters.
We have survived a massive attack in January (the biggest yet known to us), we have survived attempted leaks, we became a company in June, we celebrated our birthday, we will survive this attack.
WE = YOU = The community
Stay safe. This thread is to be updated by an administrator, human resources and the security team.
Edit: Making good progress, though please expect that this may take a few days.
