Question: Are we going to have a mod to change the speed cap?
Because while it is nice for lazy planetary landings, there is something to be said about glitching out of your ship and then by the time you get back in to start slowing your descent it's too land and you end up slamming into the planet doing 600m/s and then spend the next 3 minutes in your cockpit watch your ship violently twitching back and forth until it settles in the new crater.

I own it, runs fine, I'll prolly play on the server. Just never really got the hang of it.

I kinda suspect a speed mod wont be added, if one is probably no more than 200mps
Anything faster and the game becomes really unstable, though this is to be expected as the game was never designed to go faster than that as thats as fast as it can calculate the physics changes

Feel something big coming towards that little ship soon.
Once that server is up, something will overshadow you.

Really? I only started noticing issues at around 1000m/s
I regularly fly my behemoths at a cruising speed of 500m/s with no problems, aside from planetary impacts.
Although now that i think about it, I did go overboard when buying my processor, so that probably has a bit to do with it.
I would definitely like a speed cap increase of some type, even it's only small one.

Anyone else having troubles with their Space Engineers? Mine keeps crashing, and my ships seem to have lost all of their life support systems.
EDIT: Recent update seems to have broken saves, and oxygen can now be enabled disabled.

I can make better ships in my sleep, look good though, just look very slow and very vulnerable to attacks *Cough

Looks can be deceiving, it's whats inside that counts.
When I can get my old saves working I'll post some screenshots of my "Luxury Liners"
They look rather large and unwieldy, but my god they haul ass.
EDIT: Blackdog's first ship looks like it has a giant nose on the front.

Nothin wrong with a big nose
My ship designs are in a similar fashion, not exactly the slimmest or fanciest lookin things, but by god do they work, and by god can they take a beating
